Apparently the tickle fetish guy is actually a plot point. Gonna suck if he's more or less "responsible" for the horror elements kicking in.
 
In the video original/video she made about that tickle session, the guy was making sure she was comfortable (letting her know that he takes the word "stop" seriously). However, I read an article somewhere that after that video was made, a lot of tickle-fetishists kept asking her for sessions. She never attended one since because I guess she must have felt uncomfortable

From what I remember of the premise writeup, that won't be the case. I think that character is more of a first-act- or even first-ten-minutes-type figure, just to establish the setting and add novelty.

They're screening it in festivals currently. Which means it will only be available to view at whatever festivals they've been accepted in. Then when the festival run is over, if a studio like Netflix or Hulu decide to pick it up, they will make it available on their platform. If not, then perhaps the team behind the film will decide to put it up on a streaming site of their choosing. There's a lot of uncertainty at this point; a lot could happen and a lot could change. So folks like us won't know for a while. But here's hoping that one of the major platforms does decide to pick them up!
 
I think there will be an option for sure at some point. This is the internet afterall

It's apparently doing quite well in these festivals, so... those people.
 
I would bet anything that this tickle scene is going to be very minimal and not worth raving about. It's probably gonna be like 5 seconds and then cut....or something like that. I could be wrong of course, but that's just my hunch.

That's not how film making and film promotion works. This movie was made for mainstream audiences, not us.

I also think that it won't be a long scene, since it's already been said here that this is a movie for mainstream audiences. But I think we can expect a lot of that scene by the trailers...

Well, the trailers caught my attention. She's ticklish for real, I think we can have great expectations and we won't get disappointed. But yeah, I'm not expecting a long scene also...
 
Well that was a massive disappointment for something with so long a build up.

I think the trailer has better material and angles in it.

The scene in question is literally the first scene in the movie with no build up. Just a picture of a computer screen with an ad saying $50 for your smile to be captured by tickling, for a gums commercial. Then maybe 10 seconds of tickling and no good angles or story to it. Pretty disappointed

Honestly I think a good portion of people expected this to be the case, I know I did, it’s a shame but it was to be expected

I think most people assumed that but still figured there'd be a bit more tickling.
