Foot Tattoos

Personally, I hate tattoos. I really can't tell you why but as long as i've been conscious of them I didn't like 'em. If I encounter one on the foot it's a complete turnoff.

I was gettng a pedicure this afternoon and cruising thru what I THINK is the latest edition of People Mag. Now I don't know if this is what you were looking for but Nicole Ritchie had the most gorgeous tattoon of an anklet that looked like a rosary, which travelled down the front of her foot and culminated in a cross (if you're not Catholic, could always substitute whatever you're into that's cute, like Hello Kitty, etc.) I hope to God someone can find the pic, words don't do it justice...

Sorry to say I find tattoos on legs and feet a turn-off. I guess it's because I find (womens) legs and feet to be the sexiest part of the body - and tattoos detract from natural form and beauty.

When I was at NEST I was pleasantly surprised to hear "ooooh, I got the tattooed foot" and etc... my tat on my foot means a lot to me as I drew it myself and that fact that it was a favorite object of my now deceased mother. It has a meaning...

I'm not a big fan of tattoos, in general, anywhere. I have nothing against, them, or against those that have them (it's your body, do what you want with it). To me a woman's skin, in all it's complexity and wonder, is one of the most beautiful things on the earth. Tattoos are pretty, but to me adding something that's pretty to something that's beautiful - seems to detract from the beauty, rather than add to it. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'm merely expressing my opinions, and that's all it is - an opinion. I I appreciate the opportunity to express my views on this topic.

I think it's great when the ladies get foot tatto's. It sends up a flag to us guy's that your are into your feet.

Well, I'm headed there for Memorial weekend and who knows after that? I fell in love with Philly while I was out there... depends on a lot of stuff but I've been thinking about making a serious move soon. Don't know yet where it'll bring me.

Obviously I have a favorable opinion of foot tattoo's...lol. I adore mine. I feel it's very sexy and is a wonderful accessory for the foot, much like a toe ring, only permanent.

As for a design, I chose something near and dear to me....tickling! Mine is two blue feathers, crossed at the quills, united by a heart to represent my love of tickling. It's subtle enough to get people asking (which is always a fun conversation starter!), yet bold enough for those into tickling to guess at it's symbolism. Very fun!

Sinner, my foot tattoo did not hurt any worse than any of my other tattoo's. In fact, it was probably the least painful one I had done. It even tickles at some points, and honestly it's MUCH harder to sit still when it tickles, than it is to sit still when it hurts! So make sure you have someone to keep your leg nice and still for the tat if you decide to get one done.

A foot tattoo is not a good idea. If you want to detract from the sexiness of your body with a permanent scar that will not change with fashion etc, then go ahead. Personally, i think less drastic decoration should be opted for - maybe an anklet, toe ring or even a tattoo that can be washed off.
