Gag strap problem

I'm here to discuss a recent problem about a gag strap of mine. My slave has a temper and while ball gagged, tries to push the ball with his tongue. I've come to the conclusion that he is incapable of pushing a certain variety of gags, which have more holes and the leather straps are non-stretchy.

He's 5'9' (175 cm.), 129 pounds (Saw his health app), gym lad with decent muscle work and fighting spirit. I discovered that he's very determined to free his mouth and pushes as hard as he can until he achieves his goal. With that ball gag, he gets it a little past his teeth but after a couple of seconds, it pops back in and fails to escape, which makes him more frustrated and turns hot blooded. I could make him stop struggling with a simple front choke hold or an average smack on the butt or face. That would turn him on even more but it ruins the fun, watching him try to get to my body with brute force.

I of course was very delighted and relieved by doing my job well, but after the session, I grew worried to see that the hole of the strap which I used to buckle him with, was getting worn out. The hole isn't circular anymore. After a couple of sessions, he probably would be able to escape and tear out the hole so he can smile triumphantly like always do. It's important to hold my prisoner nice and secure.

Is there a way to reinforce the holes, in a way of making them more durable against feisty tongues? I'm open to different kinds of solutions as well, let me know.

I’m not the most familiar with bondage techniques so this is a little out of my element, HOWEVER I’ve seen a solution to this issue before in the form of a handkerchief or scarf. Twisting it as if you’re wringing it out and stuffing it in the mouth will reinforce the fabric to prevent a strong tongue without popping in or out. Make sure to tie the knot in the middle to cover the mouth whole then secure another one around the back of the head too so that the whole jaw-line is covered. It may not look as BDSM-oriented as you might like compared to a ball gag but it’ll do the trick AND it’s much cheaper. Either that or a gag that acts as a mouth guard to shape the mouth itself, tongue included. I hear pro athletes sometimes use those. Hope this sorta helped

Okay, wait, is he trying to push the ball gag out with his tongue because he finds it uncomfortable? If so, you might want to talk with him on what he finds comfortable and not comfortable. Bondage should be pleasurable for both parties and while subs often do struggle they should also find it pleasurable to do so. If he's struggling because he's not having a good time then there might be a problem. Also he only weighs 129 pounds? How skinny and/or young is this guy? o_o

The strap is likely a faux leather strap. One made of real leather would be more pricey, but be more durable. If you're crafty/handy, you could maybe crimp small metal ring "eyes" or "eyelets" into several of the holes you are likely to use. It could possibly still take damage over time, but much less likely. The idea here is that the thin tongue of the buckle will push against the inner part of the metal eye instead of cutting into the strap material.

There are many, many types of gags on the market, so shop around and read reviews. Given the specific demands you are facing, it sounds like you need a different style of gag. Consider one of the types that insert to fill the mouth more and are designed to prevent the tongue from moving due to the space they fill.
