Headphones, oh yeah.
Dave2112,
Headphones can be an extrordinarily torturus addition, or a death blow to a tickle session. I first had the thought to try this when I read an article about how different styles of music change your brainwave patterns and endorphines. Hard rock will make you anxious and on edge, speed up your heart and raise your blood pressure. That is why you shouldn't listen to it while you're driving. Classical, especially Mozart, has been proven to raise your brains endorphine levels significantly. It forces your brain wider awake, therefore making you more sensitive to stimulus, enter the feather. I have tried this on 2 girls and myself, so I can tell you for sure that it doubles, or more, your ticklishness.

Dave2112,
...try a set of earplugs or headphones as well.
