Gail Kim returning to WWE

I'm looking forward to this and I hope the WWE focuses more on the Divas who can actually wrestle.
 
And considering that, in the WWE, wrestling is basically a side job for the divas, and at least we get more of this....
 
TNA's Biggest Mistake yet...

Gail Kim basicly was the back bone of the TNA women divition. She and Jackie tore it up with their fued, and she had some cool matchs with Kong. Vince was an idiot to let her go in the first place, but Dixie Carter is a bigger ass for not giving her a raise for all her efforts as a worker. Unfortunetly she will probably be jobbing out to no talent bimbos with in 2-3 months because the new wrestling fans just care about tits and not actual wrestling skill.

Word. Kills me every time I see a diva like Maria beat someone like Victoria. Not that I've seen that exact match or anything. Just using that as an example of Playboy winning out over wrestling talent. 🙄

They allow the real wrestlers to stay around the Women's title. It's usually around Wrestlemania when whatever Diva is featured in Playboy is given an opportunity they don't deserve. Victoria definently should be used better than she is. But you can't really complain with the fueds between Mickie and Beth on Raw and Michelle McCool and Neidhart on Smackdown. Hopefully Gail goes to Smackdown to fued with Neidhart.

I agree, nothing wrong with those feuds. I just tire of Playboy types getting thrust into a championship spotlight they in no way deserve. I understand the marketing strategy behind hiring very attractive females and turning them into wrestlers, but not every one of them is going to magically transform into Trish Stratus. Vince would do well to remember that quality matches week in and week out is also good marketing. Lotta these girls can't deliver, which you and I clearly agree on.

Yeah, but Vince has made it clear that he doesn't care for women's wrestling. The divas are there to sell magazines, calendars, and videos. The wrestling is just thrown in for added measure. That's why most matches don't last longer than five minutes, if that. A damn shame, when you consider all the great female wrestlers out on the independant circuit, like SHIMMER.

Btw Adam...have you seen the website wrestlinggonewrong.com? It's got some pretty great memorable moments from the worst of wrestling.

Just goes to show that I've been right all along, and Vince is a dumb ass. A company with 5 hourse of TV or more a week can put aside a respectable amount of time for good women's matchs. Molly Holly is an example of on of the best ever, and here time in the Stratus Era of wrestling was a golden age for women's wresting. I still remember in the 90's when Jackie "cut" Sable's hair then wore it as a weav on RAW that was awesome shit.

If you were lucky enough to have a daddy who owned a wrestling company, and ruthless enough to ruin other peoples ability to earn money in the same field you could. Do you think WCW got it's 84 week run because of what they were doing, or because Vince was an arogant jack ass who didn't think anyone could ever touch him as the King Pin of the indastry, success can bread contempt, and thats is Vince's greatest fualt.

Vince made the WWE what it is today. Vince took the ball and ran for touchdown after touchdown. It's not like he sat back and spent what his father made. Vince earned everything he has today. Wrestling isn't perfect at any level but it's not like the WWE is getting everything wrong. And I would say that WCW did get their run because of what they were doing and the fact that it took Vince a little while to catch up to the changing times.

Gail Kim Heading Back to TNA? Don West Released From His Job

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Gail Kim has NOT signed a deal yet with WWE and that there is a chance she may be heading back to TNA. We initially reported that Kim did not want to leave TNA, however the money deal offered to her from WWE was just too large to pass up. We're now receiving word that both Kim and Dixie Carter were not happy with how negotiations went and have decided to try working out a deal personally. It's being said that Kim felt terrible about leaving TNA, therefore she is going to try as hard ss she can to stick with the company as long as they are willing to offer her something close to what WWE is offering. At this point WWE's offer is rumored to be about three times as much as TNA's, and that does not include PPV bonuses, merchandising, etc.
 
It'll be kind of interesting to see how all this pans out. Seems to me like she most likely will stay in TNA.
 
Interesting. So Gail could be sticking with TNA yet. I suppose we'll have to wait and see how this plays out.

Thats not entirly true. Trish wrestled Lita in a RAW main event, and their wasn't 1 "We Want Puppies" chant from the crowd. In fact when any of the good workers (Trish, Lita, Molly, Victoria, Gail ect) were in the ring there was none of that crap. On a show called Off The Record the host mentioned to Trish Stratus that during her matchs th fans didn't do these sorts of chants either, and Trish seemed quite proud of that fact (and few had bigger puppied to see). Unfortunetly these day they only give the fans puppies so thats all they have to cheer about.

Vince is a spiteful son of a bitch who could have made far more money then he has if it wasn't for his ego. Ironicly it is probably his ego that has allowed him to make as much money as he has. I guess the ego getteth and the ego taketh away. How ironic is that one?

And Trish (not when she debuted, of couse, but later on she really became a top-notch female wrestler). And Victoria. And Molly Holly.
Have to admit now that Maria, Candice Michelle, and Melina no longer are worthless but all are at least passable.

What he said. Trish was awesome and I miss her to this day. Ditto, Molly. Poor Victoria hasn't done much on SmackDown. Ah, what can you do?
