The hanky code is mainly to let people know what you're into and people can chat with you about it. It isn't suppose to mean you can go around violating people's consent and feel you can get away with because they wore a hanky color you like in the pocket side you like as well. For example the color coral means you're into foot worship and if the hanky is in the left pocket the person wants their toes sucked and if in the right pocket they want to suck toes. I could see how a system like the one outlined by porcelain doll might be useful in the context of a fetish gathering – something that eliminates the need for explanations/preliminaries. But I’m not so sure when it comes to everyday life. For one thing, I’m not sure there are enough of us – I mean as a percentage of the population – for it to be of any great help!
