You know, it's funny you should mention that. I find(due to a year-long phase of refusing to drink anything but screwdrivers when alcohol consumption was imminent) that I can't drink a single glass of orange juice to this day without swearing to god that I can also taste a hint of vodka.

I started off drinking the worst crap ever, everclear which is grain alcohol(180 proof and flammable) I finally threw the towel in and started drinkin vodka cuz i couldnt drink beer(i could drink paint thinner like alcohol but not beer, heh) and id drink nothin but screwdrivers or vodka strait. I made them redick strong and nearly ended every night with them throwin up, so id have oj, vodka and other backwash. But yeah, i havent had oranje juice in so long cuz ive mentally associated the two together

Everclear is 90% grain, 180% proof, and very very foolish to drink strait, i learned after my stupid freshman year and 1 semester of 6 trophy bottles

Yeah, my closest experience with this is moonshine. Someone brought it to college in a beer bottle. I was drunk and thought it would be fine to take big gulps followed by mad dog 20/20. Sigh, I couldn't speak for about month later. I ended up getting broncittus (I don't know how but the next week I had it), and still get it about every 15-18 months. Never will I drink that crap again.

From what I understand, bronchitus is not something that you catch from someone else. it is a condition. I think that I lowered my immune system so badly that I got it, but that is debatible. I know that theorically I shouldn't have gotten from the moonshine, but I think that the conditions (ie time of year, enviroment, those around me, etc) allowed it to happen more than it would have normally.

All I know is that I couldn't speak for a month or so, the moonshine damaged my throat that badly, and I ended up getting bronchitus as well. Either way, I am not touching that stuff again.
