First heard this in the film Table 19. It's a Cyndi Lauper cover and as a cover version, it stands pretty well on its own. I didn't realise it was a Cyndi song - I think she's one of the most underrated artists. She can really sing. And sing all sorts of stuff too, big ballads, pop songs, slow stuff.
But I like what this band have done with the song. I probably marginally prefer this version, but that's based on how well I think it fits with the scene in the film it's used for.
