To answer your question re: Laughing Angels, I'm at a bit of a quandry with the series, and here's why...
When I started the series, I was really into the Koshini figure, the model I used for the characters in Laughing Angels. The model was somewhat limited, but it was fine for my skill level at the time. But while I was working on the third installment of the story, a new character - The Girl - came out, and not long after that came Aiko 3.0, the model I now use for almost all of my renders. Since then, Koshini 2 has come out, and although I owner the figure, I haven't kept up with any of the add-on items to make good use of her. I've been spending my money on the Aiko 3 add-ons, and it'd take quite a pretty penny to buy what I need to use Koshini 2 and produce work to the level I'm now capable of. So here are my choices...
1) Pick-up where I left off with installment #3 using the original Koshini model (my least favorite option btw).
2) Picking-up where I left off with installment #3, using the Aiko 3 model (which I really don't want to do because I feel the change would be much too drastic and bad for continuity).
3) Re-launch the series using the Aiko 3 model, even if that means going back and re-doing instrallments #1 & 2 using Aiko.
4) Wait until I have the assets to use the Koshini 2 model and pick-up with installment #3.
Me, I'm leaning toward option #3 because I've become so accustomed to the Aiko 3 model and know what I'm capable of using that character. I'd love to hear what you and any other LA fans might think, so please chime in! I really want to restart the series, but I don't want to start it up and then stop it again... once I've made the decision, I need to stick with it.
