Halloween costumes!

What's everyone going as this year? I finally got my costume together tonight, and I'll be going as a gothy schoolgirl catgirl, aka a fanboy magnet. So everyone else, share what you're dressing up as. Or if you aren't dressing up, at least how you'll be spending Halloween this year.

Wow, I haven't gone out for halloween in a while. O_O

I might go out this year. I'd either dress up as THE Burger King (If the suit isn't copyrighted and they do sell costumes like that out there) or I might be one of those goth people. Like i'd literally dye my hair black, put on eye-liner, make-up, that kinda stuff. And i'm serious about this. I'd look so totally bad-ass. =D

If I do manage to wuss out, though, i'll probably call a couple friends over (Some of my good pals, my g/f, etc) rent a scary movie or go to the cinema to watch one and eat popcorn. Yeah, especially eating popcorn. <3

And our dog is going to be Batdog. We were shooting for Cousin it, but our friend O convinced us Batdog was too cute to pass up.

See, over where i live (not amerigo) i see the kids are starting to celebrate halloween, which is ridiculous, because there is no traditional holiday or even cultural significance to base the holiday around. its just that with the vast influx of american tv (which has also poisoned our language and speech patterns) we have even begun usurping and absorbing their holidays... at least it hasn't gotten to the point of us celebrating thanksgiving.

dont misunderstand me, i don't hate halloween (alright, i do, but for the same reasons i hate christmas - a perfectly good pagan holiday ruined by stuffy puritans taking out the human sacrifices) but everytime i see kid's throwing halloween parties i wish to perpetrate violence.

Well, we're over a thousand years past the original creation of Halloween and any puritanical significance it had once is gone. At this point in the history of the world, Halloween only exists as a reason for people to do fun stuff like dress up in costumes and have parties. And I can't see how there's ever really a downside to setting aside a day to have fun like that. The holiday has lost any sort of context it used to have unless you're actually pagan.

Either Ritchie Sambora or Eric Draven. Been growing my hair back out and I can do a pretty decent Crow now and, hell, I own a lot of those clothes already.

My costume would most likely be Dr. Salvador aka the Chainsaw Weilding Maniac from Resident Evil 4. And my second choice would be Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill Series. However I have no idea where I would get a pyramid to put over my head......Well off to Egypt.

I had to by cigaretts after I did the make up, so
i went to the local mal with this head + my white lences.
Since it was friday there was MANY people there.
Everyone kind of just stoped up and :wooha:

I don't really do much for Halloween these days-I'd like to but don't really get the chance-all my mates off doing diff things and that.Last time I dessed up for it I was a witch.hehe was fun.
