Has anyone ever been tickled during a massage?

I went to Shanghai this winter with my cousin and (we are both girls) we decided to get a massage at one of our hotels. It was my first massage *ever* so I asked for a girl instead of a guy so I would be more comfortable and... yikes.

I didn't even think about the tickling factor until she got to the back of my legs and I just lost it! I felt so bad, because it was straight out guffaws instead of light giggling... but she was doing more "deep" massage and I couldn't help it.

It was also, according to my cousin who's got them before, just a very weird, different massage, in terms of where they did it. Like she massaged my stomach (also a "SHIT! oh god, sorry!" moment when I started laughing and hips, which I guess isn't typical? I felt bad because I kept laughing but the lady kept giggling as well and saying stuff (no idea what, probably something bad XD) in Mandarin to the guy massaging my cousin whenever I'd laugh or giggle.

I didn't get a foot massage and I almost regret it! I actually haven't been tickled by anybody in several years and (er, yeah, obviously didn't mention this to my cousin) I got pretty turned on by the fact that I "couldn't" stop the tickling because we'd already paid $15 for the massage.

A massage - if normally done correctly - shouldn't tickle! My mum is a reflexologist, and while it is funny to look at, the patient does not feel the benefit of the massage as they can neither mentally relax nor relax their muscles effectively to be manipulated (unless of course their one of you guys in which case being tickled is probably the best thing about it!! 😛)

However, it is inevitable that massages will tickle some people. I sometimes give massages to girlfriends and girl-mates, and I find that it is normally the massaging of anywhere on the torso (stomach or back) that usually induces the most ticklish reactions - feet and legs per se are not normally as susceptible.

I had my first professional massage on friday. overall it went pretty well. when she was at my feet a couple minutes in she asked if they were ticklish and I said yes, so she put a little more pressure on them. overall it was a really good experience

I can't remember ever getting a massage where there wasn't tickling. It's pretty well impossible to give me a massage and not have it tickle, unless who's ever giving it to me does nothing but go very deep. I love it when I have my feet massaged.

I've given a lot of my gal-friends foot massages and I ALWAYS tickle them a little during the massage 🙂 Most of them found out that I give really good massages so it's really easy to get them to agree to a massage. I usually massage them while I'm talking to them casually, and I'll slip in a few light tickles here right in the middle of their arch while I watch to see how they react. Some girls don't flinch at all, and other flinch even though they don't react. I LOVE it when a girl is flinching and twitching, but not laughing or pulling away.

I was rubbing my friend Angie's feet and after a bit I just sort of morphed the massage into light tickling and dragging my nails over her feet. She stopped talking after a while, paused and giggled, and said, "heh, that really tickles, but it still feels really good." PERFECT 🙂

I used to get tickle/ massages all the time but haven't in quite awhile. They are fun if you find a willing massage therapist and one you trust. Although they not so fun if you find one that feels it's weird and not beneficial.
I also give foot massages as part of my job, but they aren't designed to tickle. Can't win them all I guess.

I got a massage from this Thai therapist. Everthing was fine until she started massaging my stomach. I was surprised, I've never had my stomach massaged before. It was very hard to stay still especially when she went below my bellybutton, however I was able to pull through. Just when I thought she was done, she wrapped her fingers around both my sides and started massaging me with just her thumbs. She pressed down and massaged me using circular patterns. My stomach tensed up and I flinched a little bit, but she didn't seem to notice. Thankfully, I was able to get through it without bursting into laughter.

Yes I have been tickled a few times while receiving a massage , both instances are good friends and the massages were meant to relax me . One of the experiences was at a gathering when I was lounging on a couch and the friend came up,chatted a bit with me and inquired if I'd enjoy a foot massage . I accepted and the friend was a true gentlemen and pulled up a chair and prepared the lotions,and I was a bit nervous as with my tiny soft ticklish feet I have a hard time keeping a straight face when my feet are bare and my feet being vulnerable in a guys lap having them rubbed . It was a wonderful massage,I was relaxing and loved that he knew what he was doing and I was in heaven and this went on for awhile . Then what happened at the end of the massage was he dragged a few fingertips along my soles which were oiled and my foot jerked back violently but he had a tight grip on my ankles at this point I burst out laughing hysterically which in response attracted attention and he teased me commenting on how I wasn't going anywhere and then he scribbled his fingers all over my soles as I howled with laughter squirming deeper into the couch which got others to join in and in minutes I was being tickled on my feet by him,another guy joined in grabbing my arms which were tucked into me but he was stronger and got my arms raised over my head,and other person who took the irrestible tickle target and tickled my ribs!. That started out as a massage but is one of my favorite times

Massage & Pedicures

My biggest problem is pedicures, i recently went to a new place, with my boyfriends family, his brother was getting married. Anyway, it takes me forever to find a person the can do the pedicure without tickling. Needless to say this guy was not one of them and to make matters worse my boyfriends mother and sister in law were there taking pictures of me because they thought it was hysterical. He barely tickled me the first time but me feet are horribly ticklish, then he asked me if i was ticklish and i said yes HUGE mistake. He took his little nail brush to my toes which was bad enough but then he put the brush between my toes i thought i was going to die. Plus I've got the family taking pictures of me. It was fun but a little embarrassing for me i felt ridiculous. Damn that little nail brush it works like a charm every time.

Same with a massage, as soon as they start on my sides I'm vibrating with laughter on the table, it's a good thing those tables are well padded. Luckily the guy that does all my massages knows about it and trys not to do it. Sometime i know he does it on purpose but what the heck. He has some sort of fascination with my ribs. When he's massaging my lower back his fingers always seem to trail to right below my last rib, i just about fly off the table every time. Luckily he doesn't do it very often, that would make it hard for me to relax.

I've been tickled quite a few times during massages. Most of the time, the masseuse is a professional and was able to change her method so it didn't tickle anymore. I've actually asked to be tickled some more, but they said that wasn't the purpose of the massage.

A former co-worker was taking massage lessons and asked to practice on me. I laid my head down on the breakroom table and she started kneading my back. As she got lower, I let out a giggle. She jerked her hands off me and apologized. I said, "No, it's fine. Go ahead." So she picked up where she left off and I started giggling again. I could hear her snickering.

My friend studies massaging and wanted to try out his skills on me. It was going pretty good until he got to my lower back, were i jumped and giggled. He thought that was halarious, so he just tickled me for a while.

Anyway whenever i go to the docters and they do that stomach check thingy, I always bite my lip trying not to laugh!

Oh man, I can barely take it when they do that...especially one woman doctor I had, her fingernails made it nearly impossible for me to keep still. lol

Oh Yeah....many times! The first time this happened, I was laying on my back nice and relaxed. When she started massaging my feet, I was biting my lip to keep from laughing (I don't know how I was able to hold out). Later on, when she was massaging my back, she said she noticed my lip biting when she was doing my feet. I told her they were extremely ticklish, and she said she understood. Then, out of the blue, she says, "My worst tickish spot has always been right here" and pokes me just underneath my left ribcage. I nearly jumped off the table. She jokingly said, "I guess you're just ticklish all over, aren't you"? This was a regular massuse who worked out of a styling salon, and not one from a massage palor, so, no, she wasn't hinting about going further.

I now tell any massuse I see for the first time that my feet are extremely ticklish, and there is no way I will be able to keep from laughing. But, I also let her know that, unless I say so, to just keep on massaging (I enjoy the benefits of foot massage, and, quite frankly, like the tickling feeling). Most of them think its cute, and I have even had a couple get playful and do a quick "This little piggy" game when they are doing my toes.
