Welcome, Zig. Don't feel bad about starting out as a lurker. Lots of people do that. It's a way of easing in to things like testing the waters before you dive in. I'm a returning member myself. I was here years ago under some other SN that I can barely remember so, don't feel bad about starting over. I push reset on my consoles too sometimes. (VG Humor).
