I wanted to mention, in case your travels ever bring you to New York City, that a bunch of us sometimes get together for dinner and drinks up here. I notice at least one New Yorker in this thread whom I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, too. Watch for it in the General Gatherings section. By the way, you're in college? *smile* I teach college, and I'm on the job market for the tenure-track world now. (So far, nothing I've applied for has been down your way, so we're safe from conflict of interest at the moment.)

Hi Tamara, welcome aboard. I'm new too, although I've been observing for awhile. I don't mean to lurk but I think it's smart to get to know what the people are like before joining a group. Be careful, there is the odd one that has to be watched, but there's a lot of good people too. From one ticklish gal to another, hope you find what you're looking for.

I was going to post that very same sentiment yesterday but I got distracted. Maybe she goes by another name now... or joined a convent or something.
 
More than likely....

every hard di*k male on this sight inundated her with PM's and some of the many whackos turned her off to the community with bizarre statements, requests, or demands. Apparently, that happens a lot here. Guys in here need to chill....gee....think they will? With all due respect to the honorable 8% of male members....rest are a bunch of insecure nut cases! Merely my opinion...don't be hatin'!

I don't remember PM'ing her so I hope I'm in that 8%. Besides, I'd like to get to know who she or any lady is as a person. If a guy wants an inanimate object with pretty feet to play with, I'm sure Fascinations sells lifelike blow-up dolls.
 
That's why I didn't make a formal self introduction on here, a friend has already made me aware of some rather scary individuals and I don't exactly want to open myself up to people like that. I'm approaching this group with utmost caution. Polite PMs are one thing, but that's not the kind I am talking about.
 
Unfortunately, it seems like Tamara must have run into some of the situations Jim mentioned on here. I will admit that I do leave PM's, and I will discuss tickling in them, but I never, ever, become perverted or suggestive in any PM or conversation. That is rude and uncalled for. Unfortuntately, a few bad eggs can ruin it for us guys who have honorable intent, and just want to talk tickling, and make new friends. Rather sad.
I have also noticed that Tamara has come into the chat and not spoken on several occasions. I sincerely hope that a couple of bad apples havent ruined her TMF experience, or made her wary of all guys. Tamara, while there are certain guys on here like that, there are some kind and good ones as well, gentlemen who are just looking to talk tickling in a non perverted way, and make new friends. If I may, might I suggest that you place whoever has been rude on ignore, and try talking with people who are kind and engaging. There are some very good people on this site, and it is a shame that a couple have to turn off women, and ruin it for all the rest of us guys who want to be kind and welcoming, and make new members feel at home.
Elf, I did leave you a PM yesterday, so when you get a chance, it is in your private message box. I was kind and welcoming in it. (I hope) I also sincerely hope that I will fall into the 8% of good men that Jim mentioned, so take care, and enjoy, and I do hope to hear from you with a PM soon. As for Tamara's situation, dont give up, as Iam telling you, you will meet nice people on here if you just give the site a chance, and seperate the bad from the good. Good Luck.

We have guys join the site daily, post a "Hi, I'm new" thread and you maybe hear from them for a week or two then they are gone.... Nobody makes a big deal out of it but when a female does it people start flipping out..... Gotta love it...
 
It's ok Mitch, you were not rude in your PM. I sent a response to you just now. You're right ArmpitLicker, it's funny how men don't get the same reception as we do, but it's possibly because there are more assertive (straight) males on here than there are females...maybe...just a speculation. It seems like there aren't as many women, and the ones that are here aren't particularly aggressive in terms of being the ones to make the first move. I might be wrong, I haven't actively participated here for long enough to know, but I'm going by what I've observed :lurking:
