High Arches vs Low Arches - Whichever the most ticklish?

Well, I've had the good luck to have been tickling a variety of women over the last 29 of my 37 years...and in my experiences I've found the women with high arches to be more ticklish, not to mention, more attractive to tickle. LOL
I've had tickling in every relationship I've had with females. My ex was one of those with low arches, and wasn't very ticklish there at all. It wasn't a good situation since feet are one of my fav targets. My current girlfriend, who's into tickling, and I'm marrying this spring, has very high arches, and is very ticklish indeed.
I believe that many of the most ticklish areas on the body are ticklish because of the lack of contact they get in everyday life. Since the lower arched feet get more contact through walking, they may become a little desensitized. It also goes along with a post earlier about flat footed gals having ticklish toes. It's what doesn't get that regular contact that is more likely to be ticklish in my experience. It's just my theory.

It would be a sound theory.

Yet studies showed it isn't completely right: Dr Insabato mentioned small children who go around barefooted - and yet are very ticklish despite this fact.

And besides, if it was true, men - not being used to high heels - should be less ticklish.

Ah yes...but this still doesn't subscribe to the areas that are ticklish. the arch in high arched people never touches the ground.So really it makes no difference whether or not people walked around barefoot. It's how much actual contact the area gets. When walking on a beach and looking at th footprints....does one ever see an arch in the imprint?
Also....all those that tickle flat feet....tickle the tops and see what reaction you get.
I'm no scientist...but the evidence is there.

Dr Insabato suggested lack of contact doesn't explain ticklishness.

For instance: some ppl are ticklish on their palms - and yet they use their hands everyday.


So, as it seems, lack of callouses or continuous usage, don't fully influence ticklishness of a given area.

It would go against common knowledge - but actually ticklishness is not ONE feeling, but actually three.

That's why ppl can be ticklish even if they got rough skin.

well my friend, i think that it's time to close this poll, because it's freeze since many time ago. 63 votes is all what we got. 54 % tell high arches, only 11 % believe that flat feet are really ticklish, 32 % tell that depends of each person. Maybe somebody vote just now or maybe not.

I really dont think that the state of the arch would have anything at all to do with ticklishness. It appears that in general people prefer women with high arches. Unfortunately (as anyone who's seen my pictures can tell) I have always had very low arches. Though not flat per se they definately dont have a lot of dimention to them. So, sorry guys 🙂
But truthfully I dont think it matters a bt.

I quite agree here...that it doesn't matter. I voted 'depends on the individual'. I think that it all has to do what appeals to a person. My first wife had high arches and was very ticklish (she wasn't into it). My second wife had low arches and was very ticklish (she liked it). I based my vote from personal experience.

*looks at her feet thoughtfully..* Well I have flat feet but they're terribly ticklish.. marching band taught me to walk on the ball of my foot, not supporting my weight on the entire area from toes to heel. My heels and non-existant arches are very ticklish, but the ball of my foot is a bit less so, the skin is a little tougher there and not quite as responsive as, say, the stems of my kind of lengthy toes. I don't have pink little stubs, I have long, wiggly toes, but not like 3-jointed monkey feet long.. I have a friend with toes that have 3 knuckles and god she's fun to torment.

From my experience, I havn't found that arches make much of a difference. I do believe that people who sit around a lot and people who are active have a difference, so I might go with the contact theory. I do say though, I like high arches and flat equally, the tickling is all that matters 😉

It depends on the individual. While I love high arches, I have been very dissapointed in the past and found that many are not at all ticklish. In my experience which is great, I find that when you tickle someones feet and they have the reaction of bending their toes and cant help it, they have been the most ticklish feet that I have come across.
