Okay, here's the trick that I've found worked for me. After getting up, I'd wait a couple of hours and then make myself a good, sizeable dinner. That's my primary meal of the day, and I'll usually eat it close to noon. After that, I get around to doing any chores or errands I needed to do, and around 6-7 pm I have supper, noticeably smaller than dinner. That's the last meal of the day. I might have a tiny snack if I need a shot of energy for something, but I don't eat anything within at least four hours of bed. And, if I can, I put in a brisk, two-mile walk after supper.
