It probably started in winter 1997, or even earlier.
First exposed to the web in a public surfing point.
Yahooed "tickling" - no Google gimmicks back then - and a bunch of sites turned out.
Candlelight Production, Kusuguri No Yakata, and so on.
And, if memory is serving me well, Oblesklk's first site, as well.
O's site moved. Became the basis for TMF. I stayed and lurked.
Then TTC was born, and because of the - back then - unique file hosting service - I finally joined.
It was summer 2003.
I delurked on TMF shortly after.

Came across Josie the Ticklish Pussycat Page having link to TMF, also seen TMF listed on the old "hoteltickle" site ran by Daddylonghair .Checked out TMF,and rest is history

Soon AOL shut the site down, 
( no sense of humor ) and this lovely Gal I'd met, & struck up numerous conversations with, e-mailed me one day & told me about THIS PLACE...

Crap, I don't know, man... This question comes up every now and then on here and I still don't remember... I think I might have found TickleTheater first, but I don't recall... For whatever reason, I'm guessing I didn't treat it as any great life-affirming moment, because I think that sort of memory would have settled in better...

I honestly cant remember EXACTLY how I got here. But I know back in 2000/2001 when I first got on the internet, I was in a very bad marrage and late at night I was "discovering" the internet. Just for the hell of it started lookin for anything related to my what I THOUGHT was a strange sexual fetish for tickling gal's feet that I could get off to and I ended up at the old swtickle site.
Then from there I found realtickling.com and tickle videos (when they were in their prime), then somehow ended up finding this place through those..I think?
It all happened so fast its almost a blur..but im here now and have been since 2001 LOL Im glad I found this place though, cause even though I really dont talk to many folks on a personal level here outside just posting on the forum, its what made me aware that im not alone out there and that theres ZILLIONS of NORMAL people, both male and female with my fetish, and I realised I wasn't such a wackjob after all

I was a regular at the Usenet newsgroup alt.multimedia.tk which most simply referred to as AMT. At some point around the turn of the century some guy who called himself Psycho started advertising at AMT his new moderated "flame-free" (read "censored") forum on EZ-boards, called the TMF. It was tolerable at first, but after a year or so he was still coming back to AMT only now his attitude was like "What are you losers still doing in this shithole? When are you going to get your shit together and leave this dump and come on over to the TMF?" Many of us could honestly find no reason to leave AMT, and just dismissed Psycho with the rest of the flames.
Unfortunately, AMT's founder experienced a decline in his health, and he was no longer able to maintain AMT's spam-free status, so people left en mass.

I first got on-line in 1996 and someone smarter than me can do a history of the great old tickling sites.
Eventually I discovered AMT (alt.multimedia.tickling), posted a lot of stuff and started my first site back in 1999/2000.
When Psycho started the TMF back in 2000 it was an outgrowth from his Tickling Universe site...which before that was Tickle Planet I beleive!
Upon his religious change of heart a grouip of people decided to try and keep the thing running. I was fortunate enough to take part ina private chat on line in 2001 in which the building blocks for what you see here today were laid down. I was in a situation where I was separated from my wife (we worked things out and are fine, thank you) and could not do much except offer support...even turning down a chance to moderate because the time was just wrong for me.
Over the next six years this place has grown beyond everyone's wildest dreams!
Its had its ups and downs and growing pains, we've seen fighting and loving, but most of all it has remained the best little corner of the internet for like minded folks to come toghether and share.

I'm sure I found the Tickling Media Forum, or some form of it back in 1999 - and possibly even 1998. I remember liking tickling a lot from a very young age. At the age of 6 I had this vivid fantasy of helping my classmate - a very beautiful blonde called Laura - out of a Piano into which she was trapped. Her mother was teacher and played the Piano a lot.

I viewed usenet groups that were still around but seemingly dying and Josie the ticklish pussy cat, a bit later I viewed rock-man and Toyou's site was good - but maybe not when I was first on the internet. Those first few years blend into one.
I joined TMF about 1999 when it was still on a different server?? and before it migrated across to the current site that we have.
It's been fun. I've had a couple of aliases in my time and this is my current one.

I have also have visited "SW Tickle" and I found that I wanted more than what they offered. Then took notice that this site was not being updated.🙁
I then found "Tickling Emporium" and enjoyed reading the tickling stories.
Somehow I finally managed to find this site and then I would look in as a lurker.
After reading many posts made by a lot of the Regular Members I decided that I needed to particpate in the discussions. So here I am making my 300th Post.
