I've been meaning to see this one for some time now...

How did you like HITMAN? I would appreciate your answer if you are at least somewhat familiar with the video game series. I'm a huge fan of it.

I've heard from people that as far as video game movies go that this is one of the better ones. Do you agree?

Let's start with in the movie he wasn't even a clone he was an orphan. The movie was fun but compared to the game it stunk.

I do agree that the film does have a lot of distance from the game it has its name with. Not to say that’s a bad thing though (and I did love the hitman series of games), I did enjoy the film and do recommend you go and see it.

It is true that the film is saying that he was an Orphan and in no way is saying he was a clone but I would say this. He says he was a Orphan to another char in the film he could have been lying. I got the feeling without it being pointed out there is a lot more to his history than the film lets on. Basically it keeps you in the dark. If you liked his history in the game then you won't get that from the film.

I am going to try and say this without giving to much away plot wise but would I did like about the film is the way in which he set up his kills. It did feel like the level of advanced planning that you did in the game.

I couldn't get past how horribly ridiculous he looked with a bald head. I love the Hitman games, and I really wanted to love this movie, but he looks absolutely absurd, and so uncomfortable, with his head shaved that I couldn't stand watching it.

Agree with the bald head thing. Looked kinda stupid. I dunno...it was an okay movie but I'd never watch it again.

I really, really don't understand why or even how they consistently f#$k up video game movies. The story, the characters, certain scenes - everything's right there for them. Just handed right into their laps with a built-in audience already and awareness and yet they still insist of making it something entirely different from what worked in the first place.

It's like someone giving you an iPhone and you try and turn it into a piece of toast and convince a whole bunch of people to eat it.

I liked the games, but the movie just blew. Like Jeff said, Timothy Olyphant looked strange with a bald head, and he doesn't really make a good Agent 47 just in general. In fact, the whole movie is really lacking the overall mood and feel of the game series...

If you really want to see it, they're running it almost constantly on Cinemax lately.
