Oh my, I met my current (and only) gf in high school. We dated in sophomore year, broke up quite badly in junior, and then started talking again a little after senior. Well that's all for the boring part of the story.
Freshmen year of college we began talking about hanging out and flirting online. Unknown to me she had just started dating a guy because he wouldn't stop asking her out. Well, she came over to my place to watch a movie, called up her current bf to tell him she wasn't going to be meeting him (due to my high charisma rolls (I'm a nerd)), and broke up with him a week or so later.
Story doesn't end there. After we broke up in high school she dated a guy who was basically sum. I'm not being bitter about it, he was a drug addict (multiple drugs), failed at cheating on her...I feel like I should emphasize that part. He actually failed at cheating on her, I honestly didn't know that was possible until I heard. They split up when he went into boot, but he said that they would start dating again when he got back.
So this is the awesome part of my story, in my opinion because I'm a horrible person. It was a chrstmas party at her house. I was upstairs kneeling behind her while she was in a chair with my arms around her. He walked up the stairs filled with confidence, gift in hand. He looked over, our eyes met, and all of his hope crashed out of him. I'm pretty sure I could hear his soul break. Really, if this ever happens to you, it is a great feeling if you really despise the other person...and if you're an awful person like myself.
Oh, yeah, forgot to put down how we met. Ap Eurpopean in high school, I stole her purse and wrote my name and number in her adress book. Not as interesteign as the rest, but I think it's cute. This january will put it at 3 years we've been dating, thinking of proposing on January 21st, it's when we started dating the first time, it was january 7th the second. I'm picking the 21st because she can only remember that date for our anniversary and forgets our actual one.
