How do we change links back to simple links?

Previously when I posted some content, and a link to show where to get more, the link was displayed as a link. Now it’s a text box with whatever blurb the destination uses for such things. It’s not really even clear that you click on this box to get to the site.
I tried to edit a post I just made but it still displays this big text box. Is it possible to get around the text box for a link?

Scroll down and you’ll see a bunch of posts with simple text links. Then toward the bottom after the forum change, there’s a block of text for loyalfans instead of the text link.

I think people expect to see a text link for URLs. Can this be changed by the poster?

It can be changed but it's a two step process apparently. I had to edit the post and remove the "unfurl" option from the URL, which then converted it to a generic headline. Then I had to re-edit the link and change the headline.

I'll look into the forum options today and see if I can make that simpler.

I was trying to post a link to a specific model's page. And it does go to that page when you click the link but the link's wording is for the main page of the website.

As a temporary fix, you can change that by editing your post then clicking the link. Long term, I'll see if it can be changed.
