wow..i so agree one hundred percent with Chameleon..i also feel it's possible to have entirely different beliefs and still be friends..or lovers...my parents for example...she was a democrat, a die hard...he was a republican...a die hard..yet they married..my sister a republican...myself a democrat...no mud slinging at each other throughout the years..

i know both Hawk and Rick..i see nothing superior about Hawk's attitude, in fact like the Chameleon i totally admire him and his beliefs..besides knights are super sexy...and Rick is a super cool guy..both are my friends..

i'm so afraid for this country however..i don't care for either Obama or McCain..plus i'm told so many different things about them both...Obama will raise your taxes, McCain wants the war to go on indefinitely...who do i believe? it's confusing as hell..i'm a democrat, but i never have been a totally left wing type..

and i would never want Bill and Hill back for the reason i cannot stand Hillary..why cannot she act like a female? an intelligent, articulate, but totally feminine female can do more for a candidate than acting all manly..

yes i've gone off topic as well..but i've been watching the discussion..

and i like both Hawk and Rick very much..i know..instead of picking on each other..you can tickle me instead...if you can catch me that is...😉

When it comes to either the political or spiritual realm, it's easy to do, since the faith and beliefs involved are normally very heart-felt and often reflect ones world-view, faith, and how one lives their life.

Apologies accepted, and if I went too far on you anywhere, whether intended or not, I'm man enough to offer mine as well.

I've met Hillary on a few occasions and, contrary to her public personna, she's not as abrasive as she appears. She's actually a warm person who just feels she has to appear tough to get any respect in Washington.

I don't know if she would have been a good president.

I do, however, feel that the John McCain we're getting now is not the John McCain who ran in 2000. He presents himself as the maverick but he's gone so far right wing that he's not recognizable anymore.

As to mudslinging, I was really dissapointed in John when he twisted Barack's 'Pig' statement to mean Sarah Palin when it was really not about her. And John has used that phrase a number of times himself ... most notably in reference to Hillary's health care plan.

If John were the same man he was back in 2000 this would be a difficult choice for me.

I love America too much to not take this election seriously.

And, Yes, Izzy, you ARE wonderful... even without throwing yourself on that alter as a sacrifice.
