Sometimes I have to login everytime I want to post a topic or post a reply when I have already logged in before.
Any ideas???

TicklingIsLife, if you go to 'Profiles' (just below the head banner of TMF), then click 'Edit Options', there is a box where you can choose 'automatic login'. It uses cookies to recognize you again, so your browser must allow cookies (check your browser's options). Then, whenever you enter the TMF on the same browser, you'll be logged in automatically. Hope this helps... 🙂

FYI

Part of the problem may be that our younger members tend to clear all traces of their explorations, including cookies. I would suggest making a subfolder in the Cookie folder, labeling it Data or some such thing and throwing useful cookies into it before clearing the rest of the folder,,,just an idea. Q

If you have cookies enabled, and if you don't clear them, then once you log in on the main page you should not have to log in again unless you log out.

Out of curiosity have you changed or uploaded anything to your computer of late?

New software, a new drive, or mouse. Did you recently play a game, or run a program that you don't use often. Stuff like that.

Well given that it's not a software change, It sounds as if your computer is not saving the cookies the forum feeds it as you move about. That sounds like a browser problem. You might need to download and reinstal a new copy of it.

Yesterday was the worst, I would have to login over and over again whenever I wanted to reply and post the reply, it was ridiculous! Now (as I am writing this), everything is fine...😕

are you being "timed out"?

The only time I ever have to re-log into the site is if i take too long typing a post and the connection hangs up. Then, not only do I have to log back in, but my original post is gone.
The best fix is to modify your internet connection properties for a longer timeout value (may be labeled "disconnect after xx minutes of inactivity). Also, when posting, always copy your post text to the clipboard (highlight all in the text area of the post form and press ctrl+c or right click and choose copy) then if you have the problem, reposting is as easy as pasting the info back in.
