um i don't hate him..i'm merely quoting from the media..in fact at the time of his trial, i thought he was innocent..it's his actions since that changed my mind..sure he shouldn't be a recluse, but come on...he vowed to find the real killers....he said that on several occasions..he makes me sick..and race has nothing to do with this, if that's what you are thinking..i'm white..and probably almost the only white person who did defend him..for years after also..i truly believed he was innocent.

On the subject of night clubs...
I heard, not too long ago, there was a high octane party in some Miami Beach venue. Hundreds and hundreds of people...and a bunch of celebs, too. During the party, OJ walks in with his own entourage. I don't know, I guess that's a symbol of success nowadays, you walk around with your own crowd of suck-ass sycophants and retainers who would otherwise be unemployable. When this happened, there was quite a commotion. Jamie Foxx (very shortly after his winning his 'Best Actor' Oscar for Ray) ran up to the stage, grabbed the DJ mic, and bellowed, "yo! It's a killer party now! OJ's here!!!"

Prime, you wrote too much for me to quote you, but here it is. There is NEVER an excuse to tear up your own home, so I have no excuse for those who do. There is no excuse for pulling innocent people out of their cars and beating them within an inch of their lives because they look a certain way. We can talk about KKK and the skinheads until we turn blue, but two wrongs have never made a right! So the riots are a non-conversation with me. They never would've happened at all if Rodney King (a career criminal) hadn't gotten high that day and decided to play chicken with police. I don't feel the least bit sorry for him.
Same crap happened recently in Toledo, OH when a KKK rally marched through a predominantly black neighborhood. What did the community do? Rioting and tearing up their own homes and neighborhood. What did the KKK do? Went to their intact homes satisfied in proving that "we" haven't changed a bit. It set the accomplishments of the civil rights movement back about three hundred years!
Yeah, I've heard Los A cops are dirty and the people were (and still are )frustrated. Find a better way to express your anger besides burning down your own neighborhood!
With the OJ and Nicole thing, it doesn't matter what Nicole did. I know she wasn't a saint-she was screwing OJ when she was about seventeen while he was married to his first wife! There are a lot of women who have sex while their kids are asleep--so what! He was just angry because he couldn't control his "property" anymore and flew off in a rage! He screwed half the state of CA, but thought she should stay home and bake cookies for the kids. That double standard is not going to work for a rich divorcee like Nicole-she's going to party! It's not an excuse to kill the mother of your children. He was judged by his peers and I still feel to this day that he got away with murder. But he was tried and acquitted and should be free according to the law. And yeah, he'll never pay the money to the Brown family-his nest egg is protected by NFL. Well, he gets away with it in this life, but I doubt he will in the next and that's the one that matters to me. May he eternally combust in hell!!!
And no this is not some kind of race thing either. I am just as black as he is and I and every black person I know thinks he did it. Would you be in his corner if he wasn't an athlete?? You tend to defend them in spite of their horrible behavior in public (ie: Kobe). Kobe's got a good one in Vanessa (no saint either) because a lot of women in her place would have half of everything he owns! I guess a 7 million dollar diamond ring is a small price to pay for worldwide humiliation. Takes nothing away from his athletic accomplishments, but as a husband he's a scumbag!!
And OJ is living his life-he's partying with his NFL pension. He hides his money so it can't get attached in the lawsuit-so he's doing just fine. I just hope his children end up okay because they have/had nuts for parents!!

although its difficult to catch anything on the news today not about the war in the middle east, i did in fact hear on two different news networks yesterday that the video was indeed a fraud and the OJ impersonator may be sued. i also read on AOL news i believe, that the "real" OJ is attempting to change his name.....i wont comment on the "real" killers as everyone has already said just about everything i could possibly add.....very interesting discussion however, i hadnt thought about this in many years
no matter if you think OJ did it or not, the fact remains, NO ONE knows who actually killed Nicole and Ron unless they were there. no lawyers, no civilians, no one. as of now, OJ is the ONLY person who truly knows what happened. people who think he did it are entitled to their opinion, but the same goes for the people who think he didnt do it. bottom line, OJ is a free man and the court system worked exactly the way it was supposed to. it is only because the majority of people felt he was guilty do they think OJ got "off".
but the question remains. why does OJ elicit so much emotional hate even to this day? that is why i brought up the Rodney King officers and Robert Blake. I bet that if Scott Peterson got off, he wouldnt be as villified as OJ. why is that? can anyone answer that? Bueller? Bueller?
