I started to become really active 2-3 years afterwards though, first among the French community, and then when I felt confident enough about my English ability, I jumped over the fence to the English-speaking sections.

I was mainly active in the Artwork sub-forum at first, but then I discovered the rest of the site was awesome too. Now I feel at home pretty much everywhere ^_^
