how to convert mpeg and real player files to video tape?

does anyone know what it takes and how I could go about recording some of my mpegs and realpayers files to video tape? I want to be able to watch them on my t.v. Is this somthing that is possiable to do? or no?..

I think you need an external device to do this unless you have a special video card installed on your computer already. Dazzle makes a lot of these kind of products I have their link below if you want to check them out. Good luck.
