I am not encouraging this behavior but has anyone tickled someone they didn’t know with a positive outcome?

Let me be clear, I am not encouraging tickling strangers, it’s wrong if it is uninvited and maybe considered assault BUT, did you do it anyway and it was positive experience?
 
OK here’s a better story. I was at a Christmas party once with a bunch of friends when I was in high school, the whole neighborhood had turned out for the vent. Something we did every year. A lady was in the living that I didn’t know, sitting on the couch with her shoes off, she had on nylons and she was sitting with one of her feet tucked under her leg so it stuck out. I don’t know what got into me, but I sat right next to her and as I did, I tickled her foot. She laughed and I apologize to which she responded
“It’s okay, if you gotta tickle me to move, that’s fine.”
 
I went on a river float with some friends. This girl was in our group but I really didn't know her. Kind of chatted with her as we floated, but at some point, her feet got up onto my tube. My memory is fuzzy, annoyingly, because now that I'm thinking about it, it was pretty awesome. But while she propped her feet on my tube (possibly with my encouragement) something prompted me to go for some tickles. She was very ticklish, we ended up dating for a while. And I tied her up and tickled her a few times too. Now it wasn't a cold open, there was a little chatting and banter beforehand. Id say it's close though. Met and tickled within an hour or two?
 
I once tickled a saleswoman at a mall in the tummy twice, and I got her ig afterwards. But that was after like probably 20 minutes of talking with her though.
 
Nah, I could never. Even if I wanted to, which I don't, but even if I did, I am way too shy and nervous to tickle a random stranger in public.

I'm not against a surprise tickle on close family members and friends, but tickling strangers is just too... strange.
 
Not answering the question but I once had a nurse apply ekg pads to my chest. When she applied one of the pads she hit a sensitive area and I laughed. She then intentionally tickled me. She was a good tickler. She thought it was funny and I, of course, liked it.
 
I tickled two makeup counter woman in one day. I was twenty-one at the time and just finished reading a story about a guy who tickled a woman in a shoe store, and got so inspired. The first woman I asked if she could give me some recommendations on woman's shoe, She let me look at her foot and as I put her shoe back on, I tickled her. She laughed but didn't really say anything. A few hours later I went to another store and hit pay dirt. Before I could even bat an eye she invited me to hold her foot in my hand so I could "measure for the appropriate size" as she put it., So, yes I tickled. The reaction was the best. She smiled at me and said "only my boyfriend is allowed to tickle ,me. but you are cute, I'll make an exception."

I was once a groomsman in a good friends wedding. The bridesmaid I was partnered with was from a different town so I didn't really know her. As the reception drew to an end there was a few swollen ankles and feet. The shoes the bridesmaids wore were clearly chosen for looks rather than comfort. Most of the guests had left and very few people remained when one of the other pair pulled up a couple of chairs and the bridesmaid plonked her feet in his lap and demanded a massage. As I didn't really know my partner, I didn't really expect the same. However after we were all gathered, and the others were quite vocally enjoying their massages the temptation grew too much. She seemed very nervous and twitchy and I soon found out why. Her hot, sweaty, nylon covered feet were super ticklish and occasionally I did "stray" in that direction. She never stopped me though and when I "accidentally" tickled under her toes she did admonish me a little. She never pulled her foot away though.
 
I once talked to a woman in the park and asked her if I could talk with her a bit about stress in her life as I was doing interviews on that subject with people. She said the next day we could meet, so we met and she was barefoot only wearing flip flops, which she took of placing her feet on the bench where we were sitting. In the interview, we also talked about distractions and I asked her if she can memorize stuff when she's distracted. She said she could, so I proposed that I'd be tickling her feet while I read her some short sentences to memorize. Of course I asked her if it would be ok, and even suggested to skip it, since she already took part in the interview, but she insisted and to my surprise agreed! So we did and she was not overly ticklish, but still twitching now and then. It was kind of an insane experience, since I just met her the day before and she was happily participating. It was a cool experience.
 
It's all about doing something consensual and so innocent that the ticklee has no idea tickling was your intent. Here's a favorite: "Let's see how good your reflexes are" (takes hand and hits bottom of knee, consensually. Then, gives kneecap a squeeze prompting a jump and "that tickles" - those seem to be successful but of course you cannot and should not walk up to a complete stranger and do that. 🙂
 
I once met a girl at the birthday celebration of a mutual friend. The two of us had engaged in flirty banter throughout the evening. Later on we were listening to a live band when we put our arms around each other. I tickled her sides and ribs and she squirmed and laughed. She gave me a quick tickle as well.

We went out two weeks later. No real chemistry. Guess we were both rather buzzed.
 
It depends how you define stranger. I've tickled girls I don't know at a party flirting with them, or on a boat with a bunch of friends. Also been in auditions where I tickled girls, but I supposed to do that and of course on dates. The only time I ever tickled a girl I had never even talked to was when I was at Disney world in the water park floating down the fake river in an inner tube. Another girl was floating by me, we were both about 18 and her feet were next to my hand and I tickled her, she laughed, I did it again a couple times and then she did it to me. Didn't lead to anything, but a conversation about why we were there. When I was in Vegas I tickled a girl in the pool while my friends were talking to her friends and we hooked up that night, so it can be effective as flirting, just have to be careful how it's done. I usually smile and blame it on them, "That's what you get for giving me such easy access to your feet!"
 
Yes actually! I made a good friend by meeting at a party and her sitting next to me, happily talking. Her shoes were off and her feet were in nylons.

I (genuinely) accidentally tickled her feet and she yelped. At this point I was a little tipsy, and tried a proper tickle, making her squeal. As we kept talking for a bit I kept intermittently tickling her feet, getting more courageous as she didn't slap me or storm off, increasing the intensity and duration each time until it ended with her actually curled up in a ball cackling. She made a joke that normally she has a grace period before a new friend figures out how ticklish her feet are and starts using that against her.

We're still good friends! And she's given me the amazing line "you know, I'm never quite as aware of how ticklish I am then with I'm around you", which I can't help but take as a badge of honour.
