During Norman invasion [1066] Saxons spoke saxon, and Normans some kind danish-influenced french.
English was yet to be.

Middle English should date around mid 1300 or so.

I know what you mean about Rotties. You think they have a bad rap try talking to someone about pit bulls! I was talking the other day to my buddy (Dr. C the crazy brit) and he's convinced they're all vicious, evil beasts of satan. I guess the improved veiw Americans have recently adopted of the pit bull hasn't reached across the pond yet.
They can be SUCH sweet doggies though...and you can't help but love those all white ones with the pink around the eyes...so cute! Like a big white mouse. 😀

Where I live, Pit's have an extremely bad rap. 2 were put down just last week, and our local lame-o media were all over it. I could go on more about this, but I'd rather not do so publicly.

My personal taste, the only other breed of dog I'd have besides Rotties would maybe be Mastiff's. I also have an old Goldie that adopted me (sort of...long story) yonks ago, and she is just the sweetest old thing, but I love my Rottie gurl best...next to my horses, but then now we are talkin' 'bout apples 'n oranges!! ...big difference between dog's and horses...!! Two whole different worlds.

...and I am totally NOT a cat person, although I would NEVER hurt one. I just don't want them in the house (past experiences...they can really stink the place up...lol...!).

Oh God I am so embarrassed.. I left my disk in the computer and mom found my pictures... Awwww! You know if I had the space I'd take you up on that! I know full well what it's like to be 18 and in desperate need of some privacy. (that and I could use a babysitter!) 😛
Unfortunately my house is about half the size of a postage stamp and hubby's dad lives with us. Waaahhh!! See? I'm nearly 24 and I STILL have no privacy!!
I say a bunch of us girlies (me and family, you, camel and guest, but not AR or IL2BT cause they're in school still) pool together and get a great big house!
There's a perfect house right next door to me. 😛 3 or 4 bedrooms and it's like $2500 a month. 😛 😀 It could be the Official TT Vixens Pad 😀
