I haven't had a chance to read the forums until now. I didn't know about Scooter, that he was that ill (I understood he was old) I'm sorry to hear that.

My parent's dog Sammy is getting up there in years and I know I'm dreading the day we have to make that decision.

We've had several close pets over the years that we have had to put to sleep because it is much kinder than to try and keep them alive (I have stories of this but they are grim and freaky so I'll spare you at this time).

I will miss seeing Scooter at your place, he was always one of my favorites over the years.

I have similar thoughts of doggie heaven that you do. Call me if you have a need.

Thanks Ed! Scooter is sure missed around here. My other two girls are still trying to figure out where she is.

You'll get to meet my new baby, Talle', next time. She's a delightful baby. She loves to kiss everyone, especially DVNC and thinks she's a lap dog. She now weighs 55 lbs and she's still growing! LOL And she keeps Laguna busy wrestling and running around which saves all of us from throwing the ball for hours on end for Laguna.
