Well if Bush was (is) considered far right by some, and Obama was (is) considered far left by some others...then his moves right now (moves that Bush would make and had made in the past) start placing him more center-left than far left. All I point out is that IF McCain had won, and everything else had been same (same moves Obama has made) people on the left would be pouring the 4-more years syrup down our throats telling everyone how right they were. But when Obama does it.....yet again no peeps. No outrage. Nothing. You are equating Obama to Bush, and in doing so are claiming a movement towards the center? That's what I do not understand. There are elements which are kept from the previous presidency, but let's not sit here and call them mirror similarities.
Funny how those things work. If the other guy does it....ITS WRONG!! EVIL!!
If my guy does it, he must have a good reason. Now again..that's funny.
You know what you have a point. You can not get everyone on the same page for everything. So there is something to the fact that no matter what you will always have a dissenter or three. Then again, I would also argue that not everyone of these people wishes for a cohesive unity.
Another decent point here. People want power, not to work together. Which is really sad. We can only hope that one day the collective morons in Washington DC figure out we can do so much more together than we can arguing over every thing. That would indicate we were ever really on track, which I doubt we have been since the Revolution. People don't want to work together. They rather get into pissing matches. And if they win the pissing match, they laugh. And if they are losing, they throw abstract bullshit in the way.
Not really. You can be amused from the outside without being one of those. If you pay to watch the circus and laugh at a bunch of clowns....are you also a clown? I think not.But even so, centrist folk laughing only places them in one of those categories they apparently despise.
Sometimes with all the lunacy that rampant on the left and right...that's all we can do. Laugh.
