I love my wife! Met here on the TMF

Here are a couple pictures my wife and I decided to share. We meant to do something similar right after our wedding but time and procrastination kept getting in the way. Well truthfully it was more me being lazy then anything....lol. A bit of back story, my wife and I met here on the TMF about 5 years ago in the chat room. After talking for a while we decided to meet. She almost backed out from the airport but thankfully she did not. So we met in person and things continued to build from there. Trying to make a long distance relationship work then throw in multiple deployments, things were tough at times, but we kept fighting for what we wanted even if at times I was to dumb to realize it. Finally I pulled my head out of my butt and asked her to marry me. She said YES! Following a second deployment to Afghanistan, we were married 1 June 2013. I love you so much sweetie.

Over time we have grown together and now switch roles from time to time, but this picture represents our love and where it began, me as the Sir and her as my pet. And yes for those that may ask, those are our actual wedding rings.

You talked me out of backing out ... I was terrified, but it didnt take me long at all to relax 🙂 It was the best decision ever to get on that plane and I'm thankful every day I did... and for you. Dont know where I'd be without you babe. I love you too!

Thank you two for your mention of my service. Doing this everyday for 13 years, it becomes routine and you sometimes lose the bigger picture of what it means to others.
