I ran into one of MTP Jeff's tickling models yesterday

So I was sitting in my local pub having my afternoon constitutional and this very attractive brunette and her boyfriend walk in. I glanced at her and thought to myself "gosh she looks familiar." After a while her boyfriend went to the bathroom and I bought both of them a drink and started talking to her. When I heard her voice and her laugh it dawned on me. This was the model in (I believe) MTP Jeff's first video. I asked her how long she had lived in Houston and she said 2 years. I asked where she was from before that and she said Boston. At this point she was busted. I looked her in the eye and said, "I have your video." She was mortified and disbelieving, and in our brief exchange I got the impression that she had been fearing this very experience. Not so much that she was regretting making the video, but very afraid of the long term ramificatons: being recognized. Soon her boyfriend, who knew nothing about her tickling escapades, returned. He noticed that she was very flustered and she concocted a vague lie. I played along, not wanting to embarrass her, but I bet she had some "splaining" to do later.

I wonder if many amateur models regret making tickling videos. I remember after Stern aired and they showed some clips from my videos,I got a very panicking email from a former tickle model telling me she had just married and wass about to have a child and was horrified to see herself on television. She even wanted to buy back the rights to her video.

I think anyone who is filmed in something like that has to seriously consider the long term stuff. Even with our own few videos, Drew is always concerned that someone who knows him and/or his family will come across them and "out" him. For his sake, we keep things pretty low key. But, I'm sure it's something that many out there struggle with. (Look at the number of people who don't even want others to know that they're on this forum.)

For myself, I don't much care. Most of those I know are at least somewhat aware of my love for tickling. Though few know of the site or videos, I doubt that many of them would be surprised. Actually, the only thing I think anyone would be surprised about would be the more risque links and stories that are now included.

Dear Yaqi,
Firstly, I do have respect for people who are completely open about things many of us go to lengths to hide. But I have none whatsoever for those who can't respect everyone else's way of thinking. eg. You.
Speaking from my own perspective, I think you need to respect that not everyone can be as open as you about tickling. I tickle friends and my gf often, but if i was suddenly exposed, i would probably feel like emigrating to a remote tropical or polar region. I respect people who have the confidence to be completely open about their sexuality, but its not as simple for everyone. I would find it unbelievably annoying if someone exposed me just because they thought it would be a laugh. It could conceivabley ruin tickling for me if my friends took it the wrong way.
Secondly, I can't quite believe that you didnt get in touch, and ask that poor model's permission to show her face on national television associated with something like this. I would have imagined that making a video would be something that took ALOT of understanding between you and the model. Can you imagnine what she would have had to go through if her kid was already old enough to understand. Or the problems that kid would have gone through at school. It staggers me. I couldn't imagine Jeff over at MTP doing this, having read some of what he has said about the proccess of making his videos. I hope you can see what i mean.

Also, when Yaqi left the TMF he said anyone posting as him after that should be presumed as an imposter, so god only knows who this really is 🙂

True. But it seems the Yaqster likes to say one thing, then do the other. Then when asked why he did it, he says, "things change dodger. things change." 😀 Oh. He also says that people are obsessed with him because they ask him why he did something.

gotta voice my opinion here. i dont think its humorous at all that she is fearful of being discovered as being in a tickling video. she's trying to start a family for pete's sake. i think that yaqi thinks it's kind of funny that she has some "splaining" to do. but i dont see the humor in it. i think you were wrong to even bother her about it. makes me upset that you would do that to the poor girl, then post here as if its entertainment. not everyone wants to look like a fool on tv or video you know, like...well...nevermind. (dont ya have some "5 dollars per pound" females (the ones you said pay you to tickle them) to tickle instead of bothering other companies models while they are having coffee? 😡

O cmon, he COULD HAVE flat out mentioned it and embarrass the shit out of her, but he didnt. He waited for the boyfriend to leave and then mentioned something. He then helped her cover it up to her boyfriend. I would have done the exact same thing. Granted most of us are would be embarrassed as hell if a loved one found out, but cmon..you tellin me that if that you saw your favorite tickling model in public..you wouldnt even shake her hand or something...I would but i wouldnt say the "t" word out loud..he handled the situation well..and if it is the real yaqi..dont give him shit about it. I have always been one of Yaqi's strongest supporters. This thread seems a bit unusual because the bulk of Yaqi's threads are information about his site and exploits. Yaqi is one of the more enigmatic TMF posters, with rabid supporters and detractors. I'm not really sure which incedent got the ball rolling with all of the anomosity towards him. I know he and Dodger have had a feud going due to Dodger buying vids under the impression that it was a "going out of business sale". Yaqi can defend himself as far as personal attacks go, and I'm not looking to egg on his detractors.
I'll simply comment on the topic of the thread. When these girls sign a release they are giving Yaqi, Jeff, TC, and whoever else full ownership of the footage to do with it as they please. Sunday_10PM is correct about this footage causing potential embarassment down the road in marriage/children situations, but this is something that the model should consider before doing the film. Did the couple of hundred bucks that Yaqi paid her impact her net worth? I doubt it. She could have applied to work at McDonald's if she really needed money. The thing that seperates us from inanimate objects is the ability to think. Life is full of regrets.
About 2 years ago I met Ashley Renee on a NY City street corner where she and some ladies were promoting a XXX site. Obviously, I approached her and talked about tickle vids. As far as the lower profile models who do the tickle vid for a quick buck, only to regret and fear it later, they should have planned ahead. They are victims of their own stupidity. That sounds harsh, but that is reality.

Wallstreet, your argument makes sense, and I agree with most of what you say.
But consider this: You shoot footage of girls. A number of them are not professional models, but "girl next door types" as people call them. AKA normal, young girls. If they all took jobs at McDonalds instead of going to you, you could not have made many of your videos. Do remind them that what they are signing means that one day, if you so please, you may go on national TV, and show them half-naked, in bondage, possibly infront of their kids? Of course you don't, it would scare them away. This is why I thought you would feel a slight responsibility in not letting it happen anyway. I know you are well within the law, I was only questioning the ethics of it. I had previously thought that before a video was shot, it was important to form a fairly significant bond with your girl first. To build up trust. This can also be known as "friendship" - the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words. If it's all just business to you then whatever.

The thing is, the "girl next door types" have, in my opinion, been incredibly brave in doing videos like this. The least they deserve in return is a little decency and warmth. It is Jeff's reputation for being this sort of decent person that meant he could film people like Narin (the best example I can think of). She is just another one of us, except she had the bravery to let herself be filmed so everyone else could enjoy it. It is a contribution on a different scale to anyone's artwork or internet space for sharing clips, and I've never even heard anyone thank her. So Thankyou Narin! You should get the award for best ever contribution of a TMF member. Thankfully you went to someone who will understand if one day you would like to forget about having done it, rather than some tit who would find it funny. Jeff, you're a decent bloke, and it's fitting that you've been so successful through it. Ta

Unfortunately the bulk of Video producers are in it for the money. Through the TMF we've seen Jeff become connected to many people in a friendly way. Does anyone here have that kind of connection with FM Concepts or Cal Star? I doubt it. The only other person in the video community we feel as close to Jeff to is TIB, and we don't even know what he looks like.
By co-founding the TMF Jeff took on the responsibility of being more than a salesman. Many people here feel as if they know him personally.
This is a rare exception in the world of videos. When people sell videos to put food on their table they will go all out. Most could give a Rat's Ass, and this doesn't make them evil, just abitious. Agressively ambitious.
The friendship that Sunday speaks of is certainly important in bondage sessions, but as far as a woman getting half naked while a camera is rolling? She should be able to figure out what's up.
When I do my guerilla shoots I have contracts that clearly state that the footage is mine. I also e-mail the models links to TickleTown so they can see where their footage is going to be. Any model with a shred of intelligence will ask these questions.
After those nude pics cost Vanessa Williams the Miss America crown I think any model with half a brain would know that pics or vids could come back to haunt them. How about those Playboy pics of Madonna with the hairy armpits. Here we have one of the saviest businesswomen of all time, and even she screwed up.
Think before you act.....or speak....or post... or tickle....or pose for pics.... or shoot a vid....or go to your local strip club, which is where I'm off to right now.

OK, I'm confused....

Why do people have the impression that he was making fun of the fact that she was embarassed? I saw it as simply relating what had taken place. We've all shared a number of threads about the idea of being outed. This was a real instance, not just a possibility. It was shared with us. Where's the problem?

The only questions in my mind come from Jeff's later statement that Mary isn't from Boston and the fact that he was in a bar. (Didn't think he'd be drinking with his health, I guess.)

Further confused....

After reading what Jeff said about Yaqi telling us to look out for imposters I went to the members section so I could locate the post and read it for myself. When I found the old Yaqi name it said that he had never posted. I can definitely remember him posting with that handle. It also said that he signed up in December of 2001. I know he was posting before that.
Was Yaqi's orignal handle altered by the mods because he officially left the Forum?

Back last year, when Yaqi was talking about leaving the internet, he deleted all his own posts under his original screen name. Deleting a post that starts a thread removes the entire thread. Yaqi removed all his threads which upset others who had posted on them, which is why things were changed so only mods can delete threads.

Based on ISP trace, and content of other posts made by the member named yaqisworld around the forum, as far as I can tell, the posts are made by Yaqi. I have no reason to believe that they are not him.

Just to shed a bit more light on this...

I got a personal note from Yaqi. He stated that, since he no longer had to keep a low profile and his health was improving, he was returning to a more active and visible presence. I'll leave it to him to clarify further if he wishes.
