Stealing someone's identity is very serious, no matter where and when. Just because it is easier to do over the Internet doesn't make it any less reprehensible. I'm sorry to hear that that happened to you, Mimi. Just because this Forum is mostly light-hearted, doesn't mean people's reputations don't mean something. I have never met one of these models, but my instinct is that a large percentage of them were there just to pay the bills. Nothing wrong with that, it is a consentual, respectable, honest way, it just that we ticklers can't make the mistake by thinking everybody is one of us. After being out of it for a few years, I doubt a model would think of her vidoes the same way a tickling fan would. The exceptions would probably be those models who are also "into" this tickling thing. But somehow I think they would be a very small fraction. Maybe I'm wrong.

What this entire thing comes down to is that we need to respect the boundaries and wishes of others. If Tron, Yaqi and others have no problem being impersonated/outed/whatever, that's cool. However, for those who DO mind, we should honor that and stay away from words actions that would compromise their situation.
To me, it's just a common courtesy that should be exercized online as well as in real life. After all, this being the internet DOESN'T give us the right to be rude or make trouble for others. I'm not accusing anyone of doing that, BTW....just stating a word of caution. I know I wouldn't want anyone trying to use my name and then causing trouble. I think that mysterytic is pretty right on with that comment. I know from having adult video producers as friends that getting models is usually easiest near the end of the month when rents are due, etc. THAT in itself says something.
I've also seen women cajoled into risque modelling by smooth talking producers, husbands or boyfriends. I had mixed feelings about it because I was a third wheel when I saw these things first hand and it really wasn't my place to interfere. I mean, what am I supposed to do, interrupt what it going on and tell the model how she might regret it later on?

When my bro found out I was into tickling it was imbarassing just than, and no one else was around! Luckily he understood and said I could be into worse. I know what you mean. Shortly after my wife and I got married, when foolishly watching tapes of our wedding before screening the tape, we had some friends and family members scratching their heads about our private life.
A somewhat drunk friend of mine said on the tape that she could make herself available the next time that we wanted a third partner in bed. Not IF we wanted it, but WHEN we wanted it.
Ironically, at least from my perspective, it seemed that most of the people viewing the tape with us for that first time didn't really clue in on what this woman meant. My wife did and was firstly embarrassed by it and then secondly, pissed at me for having such a friend. Yikes! 😱
We even had one guy, a guest of another friend of mine, who passed out flyers to a swinger party during one of the parties that we had for our wedding. Needless to say, I lost that friendship.

My view on all this. I think, that for us tickle video models are kind of celebrity. And if you see the celebrity in real life it's up to you if you intterrupt his/her privacy and in what ways. You can say hello, ask for an autograph or for a picture or you can pretend you haven't noticed. I saw several celebrities from my country in my life and I chose not to interrupt them. But that's only my point of view and my choice ... With an adult movie model things are more delicate, but pretty the same I think. Yaqui chose to show he recognized her, but in a delicate, discreet way - in private. She showed that she didn't feel good about it, so he retreated and help her to talk out of the situation. What's wrong with it? His comment about explaining things wasn't vicious, it was just stating the fact, maybe with a little amused attitude.
About Neutron's comments of Internet and imposters ... I think it's just a provocation, a way to start discussion. Internet is the same forum of sharing thoughts as press or TV or city square. It's not a video game where you can kill somebody, burn him alive with a flamethrower or something. Having the same name as somebody else is not the same as imposing. Imposing is when I try to convince somebody that I am The Neutron and for example invite somebody to Your home. What's the difference if do it by phone, my mail, personally or on-line?
