Honestly, youre lucky that worked out for you the way it did. She easily could have gotten offended and made a report or something. Or you could have jeopardized your friendship. That doesnt mean we can all get away with that though. It's important to analyze and understand the relationship between yourself and the potential ticklee before making any sudden movements. In this day and age you can get in A LOT of trouble for something as simple and harmless as a "foot tickle". Not trying to be that guy. Just don't want to see anyone get in trouble or awkward situations, tickler or ticklee...

Im gonna clarify that i dont care about what you do with women, but this is an open forum and people are gonna share thoughts. What i jumped in on was the mention of consent being reduced to "white knighting and woke culture".

I think the clever people here are forgetting one thing. Firstly It clearly didn't bother her and secondly she verbally said it didn't. I fail to see the need to even comment on an issue that didn't occur.

Point #1 is why I find the overly serious reactions kind of funny. Anything posted here is not really verifiably true. We just tend to assume it is.

You say "give us a break" like im coming in guns blazing about it, just imagine what i said without giving me a tone that makes you think im acting better than you, im not looking down on anyone. Comments scoffing at talking about consent were made so i interjected.

Let's clarify. She was somebody I had known for many, many years. If tickling a friend is inappropriate or considered nonconsensual, please make sure that you do not tickle anyone you know, any friend, girlfriend, boyfriend or anyone you are close to, without first asking for her permission to tickle them. Spontaneous and playful tickling is only allowed once there is spoken consent and agreement at the beginning. Oh, you should definitely not watch videos of people tied up in situations where they are being tortured against their will because, even though it is pretend, it is still advocating nonconsensual tickling situations, even if it is a fantasy. Though you are against nonconsensual tickling, you certainly should not pleasure yourself to such situations. This would be hypocritical. I'm sure this will generate more discussion, but I am frustrated because, isn't this called "True tickling stories?" There you have it. Thaks.

My favorite part is how her first reaction was to tell him that she understood it was normally a boyfriend-girlfriend thing and that he was allowed to do it. Like, before she even thought about stopping it or getting away, her immediate response was to give him informed consent.

That tells us everything we need to know about their relationship.

But definitely do get consent everyone. Don’t hurt people. I don’t think that’s what happened here, but I can’t fault people for bringing it up. It’s important to remember.
