Yes, I would say laugh. Things ebb and flow here. Go from disdain, to anger, to confusion, then a little more anger, then humor, understanding and finally if things go the right way....forgiveness.
Humor can be a tool to let out agression and pent up feelings. Once they all get out and both parties can laugh about somethings then an understanding comes around. Once people understand each other bonds can be made and bridges re built.
Take it all with a smile if you choose. People let things out differently. You chose one way to deal with your personal issues, people will chose their way of dealing with their issues with you. The best we can hope for now is a good laugh and understanding and at least on my end, let by gones be by gones.....live and let live.
