I'd like to make a proposal to solve the clip problem

I am one of the people who will only buy a video if I see a clip first. I understand that making video clips might lower a company's bottom line. I don't want to see any of the video companies here go broke, because they are the best there are. If it is really true that companies are losing money by making clips, I have a suggestion. The video company could have a subscription service that charges, say, $1 every month, or something like that. Everyone who pays this minimal fee per month then has access to a web page where they can download any new video clips. I would be happy to do that. I don't know if $1/month/person is enough to cover the costs, but if you get enough people, maybe it might be. Maybe $2 or $3.

has everyone forgot about extremetickling.com?? I mean, that's a pretty nominal fee at 5$ and you're getting samples up the kazoo! I haven't been a member for a while, so i'm not sure if uncle steve still has connections w/ RT, but I do know that in the past, RT always gave steve a clip to give to his paying customers. Not to mention you're getting every MTP clip, some old ticklespot clips, and much more!! believe me, it's def. worth the price of admission🙂

Well, I for one can't see how they are getting away charging people. They have a few of my personal clips and never asked my permission. Now usually I would gripe about that but there has been enough whining on the AMT to last for quite some time. I just wish that someone would have asked if they could post something entitled "BTC1". That IS my opinion. Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

If you drop extreme a line about them showing your material without permission they will pull it at your request. They have done so for other copyright holders. Just point out that it's yours. He is reasonable and wants to do right by folks.

I thank you for your idea. It's clever. But honestly who wants to charge $1 on their credit cards? I don't even know if it's possible to do that on a credit card. I think we'll be happy for now with just making a free clip for our latest release and showing it for a few weeks and then move on. I could be wrong though. I'm not perfect! 🙁

Very true! He did it for us when we asked. He's always shown himself to be a nice and cooperative fellow. Be nice, he's your Uncle Steve for pete's sake! 😛
