Probably more a dilemma than a question, indeed.
For how I am now, I would say, "hell no!". I could not think no more of myself as a non-ticklephile.
On the other hand, if my mind could be completely erased (like in the movie "The eternal sunshine of a spotless mind") and every feelings that belong to tickling would be re-directed to something else... well... maybe. I would have the same feelings and fun doing something else, which would probably more common in the general population, easier to share, and would probably help in interacting functionally from the very beginning with the partner.
That brings the question to a further level: "do you feel constrained, unhappy or disfunctional because of your fetish?". Is this what you meant?
