I've taken short walks NEXT to death twice in my life. Getting a little too close to creature will make you think about such things.
First, I can say that I'm no where NEAR ready to go yet. Too much to experience in one lifetime, much less....well, less than one!
Second, I know that I don't want to go in panic mode. If any of you have ever been in emergency surgery, you know that is no way to go anywhere! Death doesn't scare me. It's just natural, but I want it to be soft, and slow, and involve a letting go. I want to leave because I'm ready to let go of this life, not because I'm ripped from it! I want to be very old, amazingly old, and tired, so very very tired. I want to use up every ounce of soul in me before it moves on to recharge in another realm. I want to see my kids and one day my grandkids grow old. I want to feel love from every direction when I leave.
Third, I don't want to drown, or have a fever. Something tells me I've done that before.
Extremely interestwing question. Very thought provoking.
