Of course there's no job for "us" to do that. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear in my point, I'm just a foreigner. My thought was that if you want to meet a person who likes tickling, that is your responsibility to make her/him like it and understand it. That's it. Didn't mean to raise the whole community to some job, sorry.

Even within the community we are all so different and it's quite normal. Have our own meaning of it. I just have my own personal perspective which is positive. I even don't like to use words like fetish or domination, I enjoy it in both non-sexual and in sexual ways, but it's nothing more than my personal perception. But I feel I have right to speak it.

I'm in complete agreement and have embraced this philosophy for decades. I think the TMF is great. I spend a significant amount of time here, and despite my tendency to ruffle a few feathers here and there (pun definitely intended), I like the people. The Mods do a good job. My only criticism is that many here over-emphasize the sexual aspects of tickling. Tickling and sex go together great, there's no doubt about that, but there ARE other reasons to tickle.

I used to go to a masseuse in Jacksonville who was delighted when I asked her to tickle me. She knew all about the therapeutic benefits of it and was only too happy to administer. Throughout my life I've always maintained the attitude that tickling is fun, and as Prime so accurately put it, the reason people hate it are because of negative associations with torture and humiliation. When it's presented as a fun thing, people are far more receptive to it, and you don't have to restrict your search for willing participants on the TMF or Fetlife.

It may be easier for a male ler to ease a vanilla woman into tickling via being sensual about it, but that doesn't work the other way around. I for one don't think I could be with a vanilla man simply because I've been there and done that and it was a terrible experience. I do not want to feel as if I need to train a man how to tickle me the way I most enjoy. I mean yes, it could be a great learning experience for him, however I'd rather dedicate my time and energy to being with someone who already understands and appreciates the in's and out's of tickling.

Being a ticklephile can make dating a bit difficult, since it can lead to being more selective in terms of being with a person who gets what this fetish is all about. I dunno If it makes me an asshole, but non-ticklish is definitely a deal breaker for me. Like people say life is too short. Ive been around long enough to know how to approach the subject. Ill know within the first few conversations whether a girl is ticklish or not. IF she isn't I just move on. All of the women I have tickled have been vanillas, so Ive never experienced play with someone who enjoys it. But more often then not a vanilla is willing to try out the things you like if you 2 are into each other. Ive never had any issues. Its all about how you present it.
