It is the hottest day ever recorded in North Texas in April
LOL. Hey, don't take this the wrong way Redmage, but I think we both know that the weather in California has little to do with your difficulties in this area. Today it's sixty degrees in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, which oddly enough hasn't affected my humility in the slightest. Go figure.Redmage said:It's hard to be humble in California.
I dunno. Mother Teresa tells us that humility is simply knowing what you are. My high school football coach put it a little differently, but the basic message is still there: it ain't braggin' if you can do it.Johnny Ticklish said:LOL. Sorry about the graphics. That was a little crass, I'll admit. How large does the hail get? We get hail here from time to time, but they are like little pepples of ice.FlockOfSeagulls said:not sure I would put it that way, but yes we get spring and summer thunderstorms that pop up out of nowhere and are really violent. These often have large hail and lots of tornado warnings.
LOL. If you thought that was uncivil, you'd have really been offended at my original response before I toned it down. Hey, if you dig Lindy, more power to you buddy. She doesn't do anything for me, but I got no qualms with her. I just didn't appreciate her condescending attitude is all.FlockOfSeagulls said:As for Lindy , it would be nice if you were a little more civil toward her.

I suppose I could keep the weather-related theme going by suggesting that I'm a lightning rod.LindyHopper said:BOYS!!! Must you turn everything into a fight?
Hey, now, gloating about the weather is a time-honored California tradition. You aren't trying to disrespect our native culture, are you?I believe that the point of this thread was to sympathize with FlockOfSeagulls about his 101 degree weather. So all you people in frozen climes: get on that, will ya? 😀

simple, my friend. The Michigan Wolverines
FlockOfSeagulls said:the Michigan Tangerines, huh; no wonder you ashamed
natural tickler said:ashamed of nothing friend. And if/when they do meet, we will wipe the field of you
FlockOfSeagulls said:well lets see
we won the NCAA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP;your team didn`t
we made it to the great 8 in march madness; oh thats right you didn`t even make the the 64 team tournament
In the last few years , we have won a national championship in baseball; your team has won nothing.
The Tangerines are not even in the same stratosphere as the Horns!!!
natural tickler said:well, the ladies did win the softball championship!!! 😛
now, in terms of basketball, I am an Illini and Connecticut fan
not really a fan of college baseball
