Unfortunately, you can bee too ticklish. If so ticklish that you absolutely hate it and can't stand it then you are too ticklish. I have known some women that felt tickling was equal to physical abuse, and I have no interest in abusing anybody.

It depends on how you define "Too Ticklish" I suppose. Too ticklish to talk whilst being tickled doesn't equate to being too ticklish in my book, however I have a friend who is physically sick if her feet are tickled and that would be classed as too ticklish in my book.

Yeah, I have a friend who will burst into full sobbing hysterics within 10 seconds if her feet are tickled. It's no fun, and literal assault to her. She's rather have something amputated. I would definitely catagorize that as being too ticklish.

However, she has a delightful, helpless giggle and squeal when tickled on the sides, and doesn't mind that at all. 😀

A discomfort is different and a seperate issue to being too ticklish or not and if someone is so ticklish that even if you go near their feet they react is just being........EXtremely ticklish. Freaking out about it may mean that he hates being tickled?

I doubt if you were less ticklish it would make difference HOWever I could be wrong. I do believe that it is not a fact of HOW ticklish one is on a certain spot but it causing a different reaction that is something OTHER than ticklishness.

Yeah I think that is a seperate issue all together. Being painful is not really being ticklish then so I don't think it counts as being too ticklish if it is literally pain.

I've never heard that before, but it makes sense. If every little thing tickles and they take no pleasure in it, ouch! For their own sanity, I hope none of those folks stumbles across our site by accident. We must be their worst nightmare!

Anyway, the topic of this thread can also be addressed by lers.

For me, starting with a low chuckle and building up to belly laughter is fun. At first, I don't want it to tickle too bad (if even at all). That comes later. If someone is too ticklish, it will still be hot, of course, but there will be no joy in buildup.

What do the various lers and less think?
