yes, you can even drown with a tablespoon of water.

It could happen, specially very old people falling into the floor under the shower and been unable to get up again.

Do you need mouth to mouth rescue,......DO YOU? :justlips: :justlips: :justlips:

Yes, if enough water goes down your trachea into your lungs, then you can drown right there in the shower.

It's very unlikely, most people would turn the water off or step out of the shower at the first sign of difficulty in breathing.

The question is, why were you drinking shower water? 😀

Of course its possible Izzy...
its the 14th leading cause of death for blondes right above getting their head stuck in a laundry hamper and right below strangluation by spaghetti.

Just a little FYI.

Hey babe, I am glad you didn't drown and I hope this isn't hijacking but I have another fun shower story.

A friend of mine, who is a spa freak like myself, went on a cruise and was thrilled by the "oil shower" possibility in her cabin. Well she turned in on and next thing you know, her husband heard her screaming and when he ran in, she was out of the shower and complaining about how hot it was. Well he checked it out and it turned out the "Oil shower" was really "110" degrees. True story. (And Iz, she is a very sexy dark brunette).

Hmmmm....... I hope someone else is home in an emergency situation, Melanie. You could drown while attempting to find the number 11 on the keypad of your phone, after first dialing 9.

Isabeau, it sounds like you need someone (me) standing behind you in the shower as a safety precaution. :veryhappy

Yes you can literally drown on dry land. I learned about it lifeguarding--it's called "secondary drowning." When water gets into your lungs.

Very important for parents to know--if your kid falls in and doesn't drown, meaning they "look" fine, get them to the doctor immediately.

XOXO

Please, be more careful.
It would be so awful to lose your delightful innocence that way.
Take better care of yourself.
