Is there a difference between the tickling fetish and a laughter fetish?

Are they basically the same? Just one must involve physical contact?

For me, if I hear hysterical laughter without seeing the person laughing, I imagine they're being tickled and that peaks my interest. If I were to know that they are not being tickled, I lose all interest.

The two fetishes are quite different.

A laughing fetish is fairly specific in that it involves a very specific behavior. It is centered on hearing or possibly seeing a person laughing. Practitioners would probably have specific likes for volume, duration, breath pause, and so forth. It is primarily a passive fetish, in that it's observed. Though branches might swing on how the laughter was provoked.

Tickling covers a much wider range of possible behaviors. In that there is much more variety in what can be tickled, the spectrum of responses that range from vocal to physical and so forth. Laughter can be a subgroup within tickling that causes arousal, but it's just one of many.

As Myriads so aptly stated, they are very different however one can "help" the other.

My tickling fetish feeds my laughter fetish IF the tickling produces the laughter I respond too. Doesn't mean both aren't great separate but if both combine in the right combo WOW, just amazing!

To me they're totally different... I dont consider myself to have a "laughter fetish" (and honestly until now I never would have considered something of that sort. The tickling aspect to me is 2 things really:
1) the feeling of helplessness as I'm being tickled
2) causing the feeling of helplessness in my husband when I'm doing the tickling...

My fetish for tickling, I can say doesnt tie into a laughter fetish... of course, I suppose in some aspect it might as tickling isnt fun unless your lee is squirming, laughing, and begging... but overall, I'd say different.

I guess I could understand the assumption when it comes to 'lers, but as a 'lee - hearing people laugh really doesn't do anything for me.

I would say that they are two VERY different things. Hearing or seeing some woman laugh does absolutely nothing for me. Now seeing a woman laughing and begging hysterically because she is being tickled, well now that's pure gold!

I think they are very much different! Tickling involves a feeling that is enjoyed by the lee or the power a ler has to make the lee laugh.

That sounds sensible but doesn't everyone enjoy a good laugh whether it has anything to do with tickling or not. Maybe it's just me.
