Thank you And part of doing the work is helping ensure that the movies and shows geared toward younger viewers, or shown at times when younger viewers can be expected to be watching, are appropriate. There's a reason some situations aren't shown until later in the evening or have that helpful giant label. I freely admit that I don't sit with my daughters 100% of the time they watch tv, and I expect Hanna Montana and the Cheetah Girls to be smoke free. Same for Ernie and Bert . And if I take them to a movie marketed as right for their age, I don't expect the characters to show truly harmful activities OR I'd like a warning in advance (big fat label) so I can decide if they should see it. Parents have that responsibility, but I believe those who make the films have some as well, we do live in a society 🙂
😉 That's 'cause you're a good parent who's willing to do the work instead of relying on someone else to do it for you. Like slap a giant label on anything that might require someone to do a little extra research.
And yes, Mad Men rules!! No Mad Men during the Emmy's though. It'll come back the week after. Be sure to watch them win everything instead.
