Is Tickling A Sin?

Lust is a sin.

Sex outside of marriage is a sin.

Lustful thoughts are a sin.

Along of things are "sins". The question is always your intentions in the eyes of the Catholic church. I can't speak for other ones.

I too have struggled with this. Catholic guilt is a powerful thing! LOL!

And since tickling is both playful AND sexual for me its a fine line.

Its is ONLY sexual with my wife though. So that isn't a sin.

But if I see an image that makes me lust? That would be. Even if it makes me lust for my wife? IDK?

Plus I'm sure there are much worse things I could be thinking about! XD

Which is why I try not to think about it at all if I can! LOL!

the way I see it, Sins like many things have a bad rep, I think you would be a pretty boring unhappy individual if you didn't ever do anything that's classed as a sin, In the eyes of a religious person im sure I sin all the time and I never go to church to brag about it to the vicar either, but that doesn't make me a bad person, fact.

I agree though. God loves us...He wants us to be happy...but He wants us to follow certain rules. The problem I have is man interpreting those rules.

But I agree...we need to be responsible to our own selves and look at some the really bad things going on in the world before we feel we are sinning by tickling. LOL!

This is a pretty curious question tho. If I ever wonder if something is a sin I give it the "10 commandments" test. Luckily thou shalt not tickle isn't on the list so you're prolly cool. Besides, we're made perfect in weakness anyways. So yes, hit yourself with a board and REPENT REPENT FOR YOUR SINS YOU LIFELESS DAYVuL yoooouu, into the pits of ETERNAL DAYMNATIOOOONNN!

You say that like it doesn't hurt anyone... what about the person you're tickling? It could hurt the person you're tickling. Murder is a sin but doesn't hurt anyone else.. just the person you're murdering... well I guess technically it hurts the people that care about that person but still...

Think about what you're saying. Of course murder hurts someone. Murder hurts lots of people. The victim. Everyone who cares about the victim. Etc.

Tickling doesn't hurt anyone. The only way tickling hurts someone is if it's non-con, or if you don't respect the lee's safeword, because in those cases, the lee is in pain and is not enjoying himself or herself. I think 99 percent of the people on this forum would agree that those types of tickling are unethical.

But consensual tickling where the lee's boundaries are respected is something that everyone involved is enjoying and where no one is hurt.
