Of course, one of the greatest things about the jungle genre is all the wackadoo stories they usually produce.

Hey! Just brainstorming here, but: How cool would it be if the next T.T. Story Contest had a "theme" to it? Say, only jungle-tickling stories allowed? What do ya think? :bouncy:

I think that would be great. Both the story and the art contests both need themes, since, IMO, they were too free-for-all. You had extreme bondage situations thrown in with cutesy tickling. Anime next to digital painting next to cartooning. I know that they're informal just-for-fun contests, but I found it very, very hard to follow the contests due to no sort of unified rules.

I tend to agree. Oddly enough, I find it easier to focus on a project when it has a focus in the sense we are talking about with the "jungle-tickles"-idea. If I'm presented with just the challenge of writing a tickling story, it's too broad, with too many options to contemplate. Whereas, with a theme, I have something I can work with from the git-go.

Anyway, enough ruminating on that, and back to the funny books:

That came out supercool, B.D. and J.J.! Great ode to the pulp era! Is Khanna a recurring character?

Ahead's one called "Jann of the Jungle". I don't know her back-story, but she may not hold as much appeal to tickling fans, as she doesn't go around barefoot as so many jungle goddesses. All-round different look, really. Still, there's alittle bit of bondage thrown-in, so it satisfies my jungle-jones.


the_jimmy_james: If addled memory serves, that jungle-girl MAKES the whole movie(Goliathon). Excruciatingly beautiful woman, but an otherwise slow going film.

You know, it's not the footwear that makes Jann of the Jungle seem less appealling than Sheena after all. After all, I did give Khanna those skins that cover half of her feet... Honestly, it's the super-clean look of her clothing that kinda kills her jungle cred. She reminds me a LOT more of Nyoka from Republic Pictures' Jungle Girl.

Also, I'm glad you liked the image of Khanna. It's her second picture, so I guess that makes her somewhat recurring. But I've already got a third image in mind, so we'll see what happens...
