His dream of becoming an inventor akin to Bell,Edison and others crushed,Kered, like so many tormented geniuses,turned to the bottle for comfort.

Around this time Kered fell in love.She,however belonged to another,and the affair ended badly.

The lose of his true love sent Kered spiraling further out of control.He felt himself a faliure at both life and love.A proud man,he would not accept help from family or friends and lived on the street for a time.

There seemed to be no hope for the future,but then the fickle finger of fate intervened.A cousin remembered Kered in his will,and while the bequest did not make him wealthy he was able to purchase this charming cottage and begin to put his life back in order.

Also,some much needed dental work was now possible.

Thinking some time away might help mend his broken heart,Kered bought a slightly used R.V. and hit the road.

Finally,some stability in life seemed possible.Kered even found a job he enjoyed,working on flood control projects for local governments.Of course even then there were occasional bad days.

Simply a miscalculation of the amount of water a 24 inch field tile will discharge after being unclogged. Could happen to anyone......

A rugged outdoorsman,Kered enjoys a variety of water sports.

Always looking for a challenge,Kered signed up for skydiving lessons.

Finding that jumping out of planes was not to his taste,Kered next signed up for flying lessons.

Kered enjoys hitting the trails on his atv when time allows.

An avid hunter,Kered takes to the fields every fall hoping to bag a whitetale.

A fine golfer,Kered was asked to change courses after a couple of unfortunate incidents.

Sitting on his porch one day,Kered saw a group of bikers thunder by.Enamored with the thought of the open road,he decided to buy a motorcycle.Unhappy with the selection offered by local dealers,and using parts on hand,he built two with his own hands.

I made a small fortune selling those throughout the south!

Kered likes to stay active year round,and heads to Coloado every winter to hit the slopes.

Always intrested in expanding his finacial empire,Kered invested in a friends business.The venture however did not last long..
