kind of urgent prayer request

kind of urgent prayer request.. UPDATE 12/14..pg 2

I say kind of urgent because I have no idea what is going on. OK, so the last two weeks I've had severe back pain to the extent that i can hardly sit or stand.. and have slowly been losing weight!.. Well fast forward to this weekend I had a bad cough all weekend which turned into major sickness on Monday, I'm a bit better but still kind of out of it.. the part that scares me is i'm def. eating more than I was over the past few months and I STILL can't gain weight! ugh.. thank goodness I have a DR appointment next week, but I was wondering if I may ask for prayer support? thanks

thanks Melanie. = ) yeah, this semester has been a bust ( not entirely my fault though.. thank goodness). Here's hope to a nice winter vacation to unwind and heal. = )

Adam, UNLESS your doctor says something completely different, I'm going to guess that the cause of your weight loss, back pain, and knocked-down immune system are the effects of emotional and mental stress. Mysterious pains and sudden weight loss in my life have resulted from that. The pain usually goes away as suddenly as it appeared once stress is identified and accepted as the cause. Weird. I don't usually complain about weight loss--figure even stress has at least one benefit! Take care. Keep your doctor's appointment. And, thanks for the nice words above.

Update

I'd like to thank everyone again for their support. Good news is the back pain is now gone and the weight issue is sort of getting better.. yay. But I still have the doctor appt. next week just to make sure everything is ok.. I'll post the results after the appointment
