Tommy its not that easy.

I buy your stuff and think you a great producer. Now that I have Pre-qualified myself.

Having your own forum is great for model interviews and to interact with your fans and customers.

But to post videos away from the video section is saying " I am better than the rest of the producers here. It is either a marketing ploy or an ego thing you pick.

I will continue to buy your clips after seeing the previews, and will be looking for your video posts here and only here. Maybe you could post them here also if your not too lazy . It is a principle thing with me, this site is the TMF not yours.
 
I'm with Mr. topdog here. I didn't like it too much when you started to host the previews on your own site. It's a lot better to have the preview right here in the actual thread than having to visit another site first. But well, might be a filesize-issue or whatever, so I settled for that. Then you got your own subforum, which is great for certain stuff - and since you're the big shot in ticklevids today, you really deserve it. But again, that's more clicks, more tabs opening up, more of my time. And now, you're not even linking to the thread anymore but have us going to your subforum, then search for the actual thread, click on it, then go to your own site, where we can finally pick up the clip and then go back again to post a comment? How many more hoops are you planning on having us jump through? I'm really sorry to tell you this, but I'm beginning to lose interest in TA - exactly as I did with Tickle Central back then. And that's a shame, because I'm a huge fan of both companies and bought a lot from either of you. But I don't have an endless amount of time (since the money I spend on ticklevids has to come from somewhere....) and I surely don't like to be made a fool of who has to click around like crazy to finally get his carrot...

It isnt better, their are file size limits here and now that I am producing HD videos, it impossible to make a sample to fit the MB size limit, unless you want a 2 sec sample.

Ego thing? Ridiculous, so every producer who has a banner or forum has an ego problem? It is simply to make it easier for people to go to one place and find all of my threads since threads seem to get buried fast in the video clips section. Producers who have forums help support the forum since we pay for our forums.

If you feel like a fool to click to my website to see a free sample, I cant help you.

This is the problem, His threads get buried fast. Oh I forgot the "T" in the TMF stands for Tommy.

People are complaining because free, super-high quality stuff takes a few seconds longer to access. And then they bash you for being so successful. Hahaha.

Tommy, you've come a long way from where you started... the production values are really high for what you do, the bondage is inventive and professional, and the variety of material is proof-positive of your commitment to your craft.

From what I've observed you appear to be a humble, laid back dude, even inviting total strangers off this forum to your studio to kick it with the models and drink some beer. That's cool.

Good luck with what you've created, and stick with the natural, non-model type model, cuz they're my favorite.

Ego? I never said anything about ego. And to avoid any ridiculous discussions about whatever anyone thinks I said or didn't say, I'm trying to put it as short and simple as possible: the more hoops I have to jump through to get to a thread and a sample, the less likely it is that I'm gonna buy something.

I'm not feeding myself on free previews, so please guys, stop this already. I'm buying clips - lots of them, but I want to see a preview first, to be able to decide if I want to spend money or not. That's what previews are for.

But to think it's my problem to run around and search for something so I can spend my money on it, is simply wrong and really bad business policy. Show me what you got and I'll buy - hide it from me and I won't. Easy as that. Who would buy a car if the salesman would go "well, if you want one of our cars, you'll have to book a flight to the factory first where you can see what it looks like, because we're not showing it anywhere else. If that's too much trouble for you, then I'm afraid, our cars are not for you". And this goes for pretty much every merchandise.

I'm giving some advice here, even if you think I'm only complaining for the heck of it. If you want to sell something, make it available, as quickly and as easy as possible. This is one of the most basic and important rules ever.

Just to give an example, JD does it right. You find his threads right where they belong, you see when the thread was created and what's in it at once and as soon as you click on it, you have a description, a sample and a link to buy it right there all in one spot. That's business done right. I will never understand how making it harder for possible customers should help anyone in any way. Then again, maybe you're all a lot wiser than me...



p.s. I don't know where anyone gets the idea, but this has NOTHING to do with Tommy personally or the quality of his work. I love his work and own many, many, many of his videos. I even said his subforum is a good idea (for certain things) and he deserves an own place at the TMF - so please, read first and then comment. Thank you.

Tommy I think your subform is a great idea because I for one am a big fan of tickle abuse and it's just easier now to keep up with his work rather than having to search a WHOLE page just to see if he but up a new video. So nothing is wrong with that cuz at least he's puting out more effort!
 
Personally I have no issues with the subforum or having the clips there or elsewhere.

The only thing I'd humbly suggest is to make the link take you directly to the proper area in the subforum?

If not it's no sweat off my back, just might make things a slight bit "easier", if you will.

Anyways, nothing personal just my opinion, for whatever it's worth. Still awesome clips, awesome videos, awesome guy - it won't change my buying habits.
