I was very disappointed when the Dodgers lost the NLCS to the Cubs. 🙁 🙁

Well I am not sure if you are aware but California has a new law where all the political offices here have a runoff between the top two people who get the most votes in the primary. Eseentially since there only 20% Republicans here that effectively means no Republican or Independent can ever win a Senate, Congressional or Governor seat. Not fair or constitutional I think. You can not even write in a candidtate for these seats now here. There is no chance I would win ... not a fair system at all I think.

I had no idea that California is now a one-party state. It really should be re-named, "The People's Republic of California."

Yea I agree :iagree: I was so mad I did not vote for any Senate seat or Congressional seat. I think its unconstitutional. I might inquire around to see if its possible to change it back.

There must be a way to file a federal lawsuit against it, and perhaps somebody has already done that. 😀 😛

I will ask around. Its especially unfair for Libertarian candidates because there is virtually no way for them to get into the final election.

The ironic thing is the law was enacted to prevent fanatics from getting into public office. Of course Jerry Brown, Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein are pretty much the definition of fanatics LOL

Yes that pretty much is the bottom line. :iagree: It seems the characterization if California as the "Left Coast" is more accurate then any of us thought. LOL
