I don't have one bad thing to say about Kurt Warner. He seems like a classy guy who was a great story in the NFL. The guy was bagging groceries and became a Super Bowl winner and league MVP. He's a sure-fire hall-of-famer. Kudos to Kurt for going out a winner and still near the top of his game. Just don't pull a Favre and decide to come back in August.
One of the 'I can't believe he may be a top-5 player in his era' QB's.
Three Super Bowl appearances, MVP, Super Bowl MVP, Super Bowl ring...
Sad to see him go, but considering how well he performed for two historically bad franchises, I think he's one of the greats.

Good guy, great player.
He's one of my favorite players to watch, despite the fact that I completely disagree with his political views.
It's sad to see him go, but it makes me wonder who Arizona gets next....

Kurt Warner meant a lot to that team. He was a key reason that they made it to the Super Bowl. They don't have a QB who can come in and keep them going at the same level. They drafted Leinart high and he's been a bust to this point.
The Vikings are in the same situation. They have a good defense and great running-game. They don't have anyone to replace Favre if he retires. Tavaris Jackson was average when he was the starter and the fact that the Vikings were so desperate to get Favre means he hasn't gotten much better.
These teams relied on seasoned QB's to get them to the Super Bowl and they came up short. They'll suffer the consequences without them.
I expect both teams to inquire about Donovan McNabb.

Even though Warner was on the rival Cardinals, he's one of the few PEOPLE that I've actually rooted for. Good guy and a class act... and I think Leinert will finally get his shot with the team.
