The problem is that ever since the 60's on, women felt they had to 'barge' in on ALL male groups to acheive 'equality" at all costs. The precedent is set that men are looked on as chauvanists by women's groups and the press if no women are allowed. Yet, women 'need their own space so they can be women without the threat of men" (actual quote I was told). But men don't.
The biggest hypocrisy was when Promise Keepers was in their heyday. It was a chance for Christain men to be men and learn how to be better men without wives looking over their shouders. The biggest complaint at the protests at the stadium? NON-CHRISTIAN women whining that they couldn't get in....even though they were clueless to the subject and context.
Other example: About 5 years ago, a girls only school in Oakland, CA was losing money and decided to go co-ed the next year. What did the press show? The young girls crying over the fact that there would be boys there and they had no school of there own. The board of the school relented, staed all girl. I do no toknow of the school is still open or not. But, if it had been a boys school, all you would have heard was how chauvanistic it was and they the boys were getting an advantage from going there and the girls in the area were being deprived and discrimintaed agaisnt.
I've seen it all my life...but the guy is an idiot for doing the suit. Let the guys have their space and the women theirs....for crying out loud
